This unit is a solid all around unit. Plays blu rays faster then previous models. Picture quality is great. Wish you could get hulu or hulu plus on this unit. No need for the bright power button to stay lit when unit is off.
Pros: Inexpensive, fast play
Cons: more apps would be nice, power icon light stays lit when unit is off
I would recommend this to a friend!

I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT AND HAD PROBLEMS CONNECTED TO OUR WIRELESS INTERNET IN OUR HOUSE, WHICH HAS A SIGNAL OF 5 OUT OF 5 BARS. AFTER AN HOUR OF JACKING AROUND WITH IT, TURNING IT OFF AND ON, IT FINALLY PICKED UP THE SIGNAL. I AM A TECHNO-NERD, SO I UNDERSTAND COMPUTERS AND THE NET. FINALLY GOT THE INTERNET WORKING AND NOW WORKS FINE. WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR A SAMSUNG LAN? I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY SAMSUNG CAN NOT REDUCE THE PRICE OF THESE THINGS, OR ALLOW THE ONES FOR THE COMPUTERS TO WORK IN IT. TRUST ME I TRIED THEM ALL.

I bouhgt this BD to use my Netflix account, and it works great,
besides, the quality of the movies are really sharp.
The internet access, using the wireless adapter, is terrific.

great player same features as more expensive ones

great player same options as others just not wifi ready ( put your router by it and hard wire it) and no 7.1 analog inputs but hdmi can do it for you if your receiver can take it
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, same options as others
Cons: a little slow on loading app but its isnt a comput, can wait the couple of seconds

Trouble detecting USBs and also intermittent white flashes when using 1080p resolution.
Cons: Did not meet expectations

I have owned Samsung products in the past, and I am very impressed with the life span of the products. I didn't believe a Blue ray player would make much of a difference in my video, but I am totally impressed with the clarity of the picture, the ease of use of functions available, and all the other features I can access through the player.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, ease of use
Cons: not available in a 5 disc

Great Blue Ray

Had to buy a wireless lan adapter, but other that that an awesome product. I have several Samsung products now including 55 in LCD, 2 Fasinates, Reality and now the blue ray. All I great products.
