So far so good. I bought this blu-ray with my new 46 LED, the picture is awesome. A little disappointed that the LAN adapter did not come with it. Didn't realize it when I bought it, needed to go back to the store.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very easy to work around in the menus. Nice picture with all videos and the fact I can get Pandora music via the WiFi:)! SWEET!!!!

This is my first samsung blu ray player. I have a samsung upconverting dvd player and it was great but the current package is a user friendly work or art. It is easy to use and has more functionality than I had realized in the store. Plug in any of your usb devices and you will be enjoying your favorite home videos and pics on you big screen tv.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: does not support hulu app

Good first Bly-Ray player

Seems the most common complaint is the lack of WiFi, if you need wireless you need the Model Up; the BD-6500.
Directly wired to the Internet, the performance of online streaming movies is great, you can barely tell the diffrence in picture quality.
Blu-Ray preformance is great, and DVD up conversion is very good.
There are some points however that are unique to the player.
1. You will most likely need to update the player right out of the box for Blu-Ray movies, or you will at some point.
2. If you load a disc while the player is still booting, it will lock up at the start of the disc or not start at all. (remove disc, turn off, turn back on, wait till menu is loaded, reinsert disc)
3. Noise: not a fault of the player, but the discs, the unit is so small and lightweight, unbalanced discs are very noisy.

Overall I've had no issues playing DVD's or Blu-Ray disc's It just takes some getting used to than the simplicity of a DVD player. It takes time for things to load and operate, its basicly a mini computer.
I don't mind a little longer load time, as long as the picture quality is great, and it is.

I love this Bluray player except for the fact that it is not campatible to the Samsung remote control app for Iphone. I hope samsung will make an effort to make their Bluray players compatible to the iphone/ other phones remote control app. that will make it excellent

I am very pleased with this DVD Player. It has great features, such as I like the way the remote will turn on my Samsung TV when I turn on the DVD Player, also when the DVD player is turned on manually from the player the TV automatically goes to your DVD play channel. I think that's great. I also like the touch pressure, no knobs feature to manually turn on the player. Great Player so Far.
