NEW SCENT IS HORRIBLE!!!

I absolutely LOATHE the new scent. And clearly so do many others. I really hope they take this seriously and change it back. I just finally encountered the new scent now, but I am seeing reviews as far back as 2 years ago complaining about the new scent, so maybe it was slowly released regionally?? So many people loved the original scent of Milk and Golden Honey because it was so mild and barely fragranced. This new scent is AWFUL and smells like perfume. I am so bummed. I'm going to try Target's brand copy of this soap and hope it smells closer to the original scent. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL SCENT!!!!

Way too strong, way too floral, doesn't smell like milk or honey. It smells floral, spur, and way too strong. Please change it back, I bought a big refill and am scent-sitive. :) Overall a good product, but can't handle the strong scent.

Softsoap Milk & Golden Honey has been the only acceptable hand soap in my house for over 10 years. Mostly due to my spouse's sensitivity to scents and perfumes. The "Milk & Golden Honey" scent was both pleasant and mild, which is very important to us. When I brought home a refill bottle of "Milk & Honey", the difference was immediately obvious to both of us and we don't like the new formula for this scent. The new scent is significantly stronger. She is so unhappy she refuses to use it. Based on responses to other reviews, it seems I'll have to tell her to start looking at other brands. I do appreciate that you gave the new formula a different name. That will make it easier to avoid buying it by mistake. For anyone reading this, "Milk & Golden Honey" is the old pleasant smelling formula, "Milk & Honey" is the new formula which has a much stronger scent.

I have used the Milk & Honey scented soap for years. I loved the old gentle fragrance. The new scent is cheap & cloying. Honestly I'm so sad. I will find a new brand!

Have used this product for over 10 years now and I have never been disappointed in it until they changed the scent to a very horrible chemically perfume smell. Hopefully they change it back to the previous smell in the future.

Unpleasant smell

I like that it is not clear. I can see how much is being used. It pours easily into the pump container. I feel clean after I've used it. I've used Softsoap for years and have always been pleased until I bought a bottle of the "milk & golden honey" scent. Unfortunately, my hands do not smell the way I would like after using this scent. I regret that I had bought two bottles of milk & golden honey since we use a lot of liquid handsoap. Please improve the scent of this product. I cannot seem to find a batch number to help in the manufacturing as it could just be a bad batch. I don't have the receipt anymore either or I would return it. I did not receive this as a sample. I paid for both 50 oz bottles.
