Why was the fragrance changed?

I have used the Softsoap "Milk & Golden Honey" scent for over a decade, maybe even two? It had a mild scent that did not provoke my asthma or allergies, which is really hard to find. The new fragrance has too much of a perfume scent that bothers my allergies/asthma and the smell lingers for way too long. After more than one use, I noticed that my hands were dry and felt like they were burning... the previous formula always left my hands feeling soft. Please go back to the "Milk & Golden Honey" formula and discontinue the new "Milk & Honey" fragrance. It has nothing in common with the old formula.
Cons: Dries Skin, Unpleasant Smell

Milk & (No Longer Golden) Honey is awful

I’ve been a loyal & long time buyer of SoftSoap’s Milk & Golden Honey moisturizing hand soap. No longer! I’m looking for a different hand wash brand now that they changed not just the name, but the formula & scent.
Having fragrance sensitivities develop in my 30’s has made it hard to find scents that don’t overwhelm with their scent &/or make me feel literally nauseous.
I loved the Milk & Golden Honey scent. It was wonderful. I touted its praises to my family & friends.
I needed a new refill bottle so I bought one from the store. Noticed the Golden was dropped from the label. Figured it was just to save ink/printing costs. No mention on the bottle about a new scent or formula. Unfortunately this new itineration is awful! It now has a floral scent that overwhelming clings to the skin even after rinsing and worse, makes me literally nauseous.

I used to love this soap. It had a pleasant mild fragrance and was nice and moisturizing. Now, the fragrance is horrible and smells like strong cologne. I even bought a second bottle thinking something was wrong with the one I got. This makes me very sad. I won't be purchasing it again.

This has been the only soap I've used for at least 10 years but this new scent is awful! It's sooo strong and FLORAL!!! For milk and honey??? Why??? It's overpowering and makes me sneeze. My whole family hated it. And my OCD child actually cried as the original was her comfort scent. Please get rid of this horrible perfume smell.

Horrible new fragrance, please change back

PLEASE PLEASE CHANGE BACK TO PREVIOUS SCENT. I have used this soap for years and it was one of the few smells I could tolerate when I had migraines. I know changing the scent might not seem like a big deal to the company, but I seriously feel like I'm going to cry. When you don't feel well and scents can make you vomit it's so hard to find something that works.

Please Bring back the Former Fragrance

We've been using the Milk and Golden Honey soap for years. We are returning all of the New Fragrance bottles for a refund. The Smell is Awful !! As many others have reviewed, please bring back the original scent. If not, maybe you can sell that formula to a competitor who can make it for all of us who like it. Thank you.

We have used this product for years and have always loved it. Now with the new scent, we will have to look for a new soap. Like others have said, it is very overpowering and stays on your hands. I'm sad that you changed it and hope that we'll be able to buy it again if you are able to go back to the old formula.
