BAD NOW -- No longer smells like Milk & Honey

This WAS a great product. Been using it for years. But they recently changed the formulation in 2022, and now this smells NOTHING LIKE milk & honey. It smells like laundry detergent now. Epic fail. Why in God's name change a formula that was just fine, to something different?????

NEW SMELL IS AWFUL

I've been using their Milk and Honey hand soap for years, because it had a light, pleasant honey smell and didn't dry out my hands. But this new scent is awful. It's so strong you can smell it in the room, it smells like very strong, cloying floral perfume. It gives me a headache. Now I have to find a new soap to try, because I will not be buying Soft Soap anymore.

Horrible New Scent

I have been using milk and honey softsoap for many many years as it was the only liquid soap that smelled pleasant and didn't dry my skin out. I just recently started using a new refill bottle not noticing that it said new scent. I kept smelling a horrible perfume smell around me and finally realized it was my hands. I looked at the new bottle and was extremely upset that they changed the fragrance. I have a second unopened bottle that I hope I can find the receipt for to return it. This new formula is totally disgusting and unacceptable. I don't know what I'm going to use now as there's no other products that have moisturizer that has a scent that I can tolerate.

So very disappointed in the change of the fragrance in the milk and golden honey! I'm sensitive to fragrances and this was such a nice, subtle smell they didn't bother me! I inadvertently used the new refill and it is a terrible, strong perfume smell! Nothing like the previous formula! I will be returning the refill bottle!

Terrible new scent

The new scent is awful. It lingers on my hands no matter how long I rinse them. I used to use this product exclusively in my kitchen and bathroom. The neutral, mild scent was exactly what I wanted. The old product was the only one that I could use successfully, without damaging my skin, during cold weather. I cannot prepare food with that horrible scent on my hands. My dog wouldn't even accept a treat from my hand after I used it.

New fragrance is nauseating!

I'm in 100% agreement with the rest of the comments below. The new fragrance of Milk and Honey is unbearable! I've had hyper-sensory issues my whole life... especially with sensitivities to chemicals and strong smells. I have depended on Softsoap Milk and Golden Honey for years. It's the only hand soap I've been able to use. In fact, it was major contributor to my getting through the Covid-19 pandemic with its mild, light scent and moisturizers to keep my hands from drying out through repeated washings. However, this new fragrance is nauseating. Why on earth would you decide to change this "iconic" soap? Who on the product development team thought "Hey, I've got a great idea!"? You know who else thought they had a great idea? Coca-Cola circa 1985. No one asked for New Coke... and no one wanted New Coke. Why try to improve upon a formula which works, and which so many people adore and count on? Since you've already gone down the path of Coca-Cola, please continue down that path: Admit you made a mistake and give us back the "Coca-Cola Classic" of Softsoap Milk and Golden Honey. We're all counting on you to do the right thing.

HATE NEW PERFUME FRAGRANCE

I am devastated that you have changed your formula to this new perfume fragrance. I am extremely sensitive to fragrances yet both I and my family have used and enjoyed Softsoap's Milk and Golden Honey liquid soap for over a decade. However, as soon as I used one pump of your new fragrance I immediately was overwhelmed by the perfume. It was so overwhelming it nauseated me and gave me an immediate headache. Why would you change the scent of one of your best sellers? Customers are loyal to the Milk and Golden Honey soap because of it's subtle scent! Know your audience! Very bad job, Softsoap! And stop saying it hasn't been reformulated; the label itself says "New Fragrance". Change the scent back, please!!! Otherwise, you've lost this very loyal family of customers.
