New Scent

The new fragrance is horrid. It smells like cheap perfume. It does smell anything like it used to before. I know you are using a cheap fragrance because when you wash your hands the smell never goes away. Good soap made well does not do this, the fragrance only lasts while you wash with it. The whole point of this soap was the it did not smell like some cheap lab made flowery perfume garbage. It used to be subtle, it is now ruined. Thanks

The fragrance was changed and it gives me a headache. It doesn't smell like milk and honey at all! I will be returning the unopened bottle we have and wish I had never opened the other one.

Had been using the Milk & Golden Honey soap for years but not anymore! The new scent smells horrible and this soap used to be something I could use as a soap for daily hand washing but it really dries out my skin now!! Leaves them dry and chapped! Why change a product from something that worked and smelled great to something that stinks and drys out your skin!!?? Not wasting my money on soft soap, switching to another brand!!

I did not see the 'new scent' on the package so I was very surprised when I used it. I strongly dislike the new scent and will throw out the product as soon as I buy a new hand soap. The smell is so strong and unpleasant and I cannot understand how this got through R & D. Just awful!

Disgusting smell left on hands after washing them. I used to love this type of handsoap. Why change the smell? I will be returning the unused portion back to the store.

Upset about the scent change

I’ve been a soft soap milk and honey fan for years BUT they changed the formula, the old formula smelled so much better. I’m upset that they changed it, now it smells like the suave milk and honey soap :| but it’s getting 4 stars because it’s been real ❤️

Before I bought this product, I had dry hands. My hands are dry and flaky every time I wash my hands. I have cuts on my hands from them being so dry. My skin is splitting resulting in cuts. I can't really move my right fingers because if I do my skin would stretch and if it stretched then that would mean more cuts, bleeding, and pain. I have to apply lotion every single day just to help out my dry hands. So I bought this soap because I read the word "moisturizing" and I used it for one day. The next day I noticed something different about my hands. They were smooth!!! They smelled good. They smell like honey. My skin was soft and healthy. What a difference from my usual dry flaky hands. I can move my right fingers now. I didnt even have to apply lotion because my hands were moisturized and smooth. Im not bleeding. I dont have any open cuts. Im not in pain. Im so happy right now. I think this soap is curing my dry hands. I really think this soap pH balanced my skin! I love it. Its working! Im seriously so happy right now about hand soap. I love it. I love it so much that I think I'm going out to buy 2 more 50oz bottles. It works. Thank you to softsoap for helping me. I appreciate it. Also, I dont know why people are complaining about the smell. It smells so good! My hands literally smell like honey. I love smelling my hands throughout the day. This soap smells so good, and I really do recommend it. Especially for those with dry hands.

I love to save $ where I can but also use the best products for my needs. This specific formulation of Softsoap meets both! I've been using it for years to remove my non-waterproof eye makeup and it does the trick every time! Please NEVER discontinue this formula!
