Hate the new scent

I've been using this soap for years because it WAS a simple soap with a light pleasant scent. I bought my usual refill bottle and when I refilled my pump bottle I smelled a totally different scent. This new scent is a strong, cheap perfume smell that is nauseating. I have noticed for the last several years that good products that have been around for some time have been "improved", probably by some young, fresh out of college, with degree in hand, brand manager who has some profound need to impress someone by changing the very thing about a product that appeals to consumers. I will never by this product again.

Have purchased this product for a very long time. The scent used to be nice and subtle. Just purchased a new bottle of it today and it smells horrid! Made me think of "dry cleaning fluid." Go back to the original subtle scent. The new scent it horrid!

The scent is way too strong!!!

The "New Scent" is overpowering and not pleasant. I have asthma and the scent triggers difficulty breathing. Please make the original milk and honey available. I absolutely love the original. All other soaps dry my hands out except for the original milk and honey and the coco and Shea also. Please, please, please make those two available as the original lightly scented.
Cons: Dries Skin, The "New Scent" is horribly overpowering., Unpleasant Smell

The new scent is horrid

Agree with other reviews, this new scent is horrible. I got a headache and felt nauseous after using it. I returned it to the store and wont be buying it again. The old scent was mild and comforting. As I react to most products, it was great to have one I could rely on. Now I have to find another brand altogether, as the original scent is now changed to another ghastly scent. It's very disappointing when companies change products just for the sake of change. Perhaps a loss of many loyal customers will be the real shakeup for this product line.

Milk & Honey was my favorite Softsoap. I loved the fragrance and it was easy on my dry skin. Then you changed the scent. Why? Yuck! Whoever made this decision should be fired. Good bye Softsoap.

I will never buy Milk & Honey (Scent) again!

The new Milk & Honey (Scent) softsoap is disgusting. Why does a soap have to have a fragrance at all. I smell like a pine tree all day as I wash my hands several times a day. The previous Milk & Honey was terrific and mild. The new one actually is drying out my hands.

New Scent Formula Awful

I've used the milk and golden honey scented soft soap for years. I absolutely love the old scent. It was my grandma's favorite scent before she died and I used it in my college apartment both due to the great price and memories attached to the scent. This new formula smells disgusting. It's too strong and too sweet. I'm so upset they changed the formula. It used to smell great and now it's nauseating.
