Horrible and Disappointing

I loved the milk and GOLDEN honey scent. It was moisturizing with a subtle scent. This “new” formula is horrible. It has a really strong perfume scent. It smells like flowers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New Scent is Disgusting

I have been using Softsoap for years, specifically the Milk & Honey scented soap. It's the only scent I buy and I LOVE it. The new scent is disgusting! I sadly will not be buying it anymore. Go back to the original scent.

Absolutely terrible new scent

The “new” scent is absolutely putrid. I don’t know who thought that changing the scent of a purposely mild soap to a strong scent that, to be honest smells more floral than milk or honey, was a good idea. I used to love the milk and golden honey scent and was an avid consumer of the product, but with this scent, I am now buying store brand soap to achieve the nice, mild scent.

So bummed about NEW formula, it destroys my hands

Milk and GOLDEN honey had been my go to soap for many years. I have extremely dry hands, and it was very gentle on them. They have now changed the formula, and after using this new formula (which now also has a strong and lingering scent) for only three days, my skin became cracked, broken and even bleeding on my hands. Sadly, Softsoap has ruined the original, and this replacement is just a totally new soap variant. The Target version of milk and honey still is gentle on the hands, however. I

New scent is horrible!

The original Milk & Golden Honey scent was light and subtly sweet, just like you would expect a product with this name to be. I bought it for several years and never grew tired of it.
Unfortunately, the new Milk & Honey formulation is nothing like the previous version. It is like they took a sledgehammer to it and infused it with bleach. It irritates my mucous membrane so much that I had to throw away both bottles that I bought and still the revolting smell lingered for hours.
Please bring back the original scent as this one is horrible!!

We have always used this product. Until a couple years ago when you changed the scent and quality of the hand soap. The old better version made your hands soft and smooth. You could actually breathe. The new soap smells like a cheap hooker. It burns your hands when you use it. I have a large family who could only use the old version of your milk and honey hand soap. We are still trying to find a new product that will work for a scent sensitive family.

String perfume smell never goes away

I used to love the Milk and Honey soft soap. It has changed to a perfume smell I can’t wash off my hands. Absolutely hate it. Unfortunately I bought a refill size.

I wish they would go back to the old formula

I had used soft soap products my entire life until a couple years ago when the formula changed. I would only buy milk and honey, aloe vera, and what I call the “aquarium” hand soap scents. They are all very nostalgic scents to me. Unfortunately, the new scents are very perfumey and strong, a bit like standing next to someone who has bathed in perfume. They aren’t natural light scents anymore.
I received a product in the mail from softsoap claiming they had changed the formula back and got very excited, but this is not at all the previous scent for milk and honey. Thank you for sending me a free sample, but this is still not the same scent and it’s too strong. My hands feel very dry after using it too, which is unlike softsoap.
I have switched to a generic big box brand of softsoap and it has the same quality and scent as softsoap used to have and it has that nostalgic smell. If softsoap changed back, I would start buying their products again.
