Smells Different

After they changed the fragrance I went to buy a different hand soap. I bought the coconut and warm ginger hand soap instead of the milk and golden honey hand soap and it smells exactly the same as this "new fragrance." Now I'm wondering if they changed the milk and honey fragrance on purpose, or is the factory not cleaning the machines properly and the fragrance is transferring between different products. I don't know what the problem is. I just hope softsoap gets their act together and I get my original milk and honey hand soap back.

Cons: Unpleasant Smell

Why did you change the fragrance??

As someone who is highly sensitive to fragrance, I have used the Milk & Honey for years because it is one of the very few soaps whose fragrance does not cause a reaction. Recently, the Milk & Honey fragrance has changed - dramatically. It is unbearable for me to use and I have had to get rid of several bottles I bought. Why was the fragrance changed at all, especially to something so horrible that does not smell anything close to milk & honey. Will you consider changing the fragrance back?

Really miss the old scent & formulation :(

I have been using this product for years because of its pleasant mild honey scent and gentle yet effective formula. I bought a refill recently and the new scent is horrible. It no longer smells remotely like honey. The new formula also dries out my skin, which never happened with the old version. So bewildered by the unnecessary change. Please return to the original scent & formula, which were perfect!

New fragrance is awful

I have to agree with all of the most recent reviews. The fragrance has changed whether or not the company acknowledges that it has. We bought three different bottles from three different stores thinking that maybe the lot was "bad" or a mistake had occurred in production. We finally had to accept that it was the company that changed the fragrance. My family has been using this particular hand soap for years because of our sensitive skin and noses. I am down to the last bit of the previous scent and we are on the lookout for a new hand soap now.

New Fragrance?

Softsoap Milk & Golden Honey was my favorite hand soap until recently. It seems that the formula has been changed with a different scent that I'm not fond of. Very disappointing. I hope the manufacturer will recognize this mistake and bring back the old formula. Until then, I will be looking for a replacement hand soap.

STOP BUYING THIS!!!

We all know that softsoap changed the fragrance and made it worse, but they won't listen to our complaints and bad reviews. The only way we can get them to change it back to the original formula is to boycott the product until they listen to us. I will no longer purchase this soap until they change it back to the way it was. The new fragrance is terrible. In the meantime I will buy a different hand soap.

We used to buy Milk & Golden Honey Softsoap as our "house soap" - for years. Then Softsoap changed the formula to a truly awful smell. DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTSOAP BRAND if you were a fan of the old formula. You will need to throw it out.

New formula smells horrible

We have used the milk and honey as well as the warm ginger and coconut for many years but after the recent change in the formula, we will have to find a new brand to use. Both soaps have the same unpleasant chemical smell. It is so strong that it causes eye irritation. We have also noticed that our hands are much drier after using the new product.
