Please go back to old scent

We have been using this soap for years and literally tolerated price gouging during the early pandemic months because we loved and needed it that much. The scent has been changed and we noticed immediately. We will no longer be purchasing this soap as the new fragrance is terrible and the after effect feels less moisturizing. Please return to the old formula. We await your announcement.

Cons: Unpleasant Smell

WHY?! Can't use it anymore!!:-(

I beg you, please change this "New Fragrance" BACK to the original!! We have used this particular soap for YEARS and YEARS, only to all of a sudden have it smell so strong that we cannot use it anymore! I am allergic to most perfumes, and almost all soaps and body washes because of that allergy... but this was the ONE soap I could use. Not anymore... we will be in search of a different soap now. Why on earth would you change such a lovely, "soft" smelling soap?! Are you unable to get the ingredients anymore? I cannot use any of your other soaps at all. Please, PLEASE, go back to the original!

New "milk & honey" fragrance is too strong

As someone who is sensitive to fragrances, I have always relied on Softsoap milk & honey. The fragrance was very subtle. I just bought the new version for the first time and will not be buying it again. Instead of a light smell of honey, there is now a strong artificial smell that lingers and perfumes the area after it is used. I hope I can find another brand of soap that suits my needs.

Terrible new smell

The "new fragrance" milk and honey Softsoap is terrible. For years my wife and I have purchased the old formulation and it smelled good and worked fine. Now it smells completely different (in a bad way). We will be looking for a different soap to buy, probably not even Softsoap.

Can't stand the new fragrance.

This used to be my favorite hand soap. For more than a decade, it was the only hand soap I kept in my house. With my last refill, I've discovered that they have changed the fragrance. At first I thought something was wrong with my sinuses. (I hadn't noticed the "new fragrance" wording on the label.) I'm glad it wasn't actually me, but I'm sad that I will no longer be able to use this product. The original fragrance was pleasant, very mild, smelled very natural, and it didn't linger too long. This new fragrance is much stronger, it has a "cheaper", "faker" feel like sickeningly sweet vending machine dessert pastries that have infinite shelf-life, and that scent lingers on your hands all day. It is still effective as a moisturizing soap, but that new fragrance has forced me to search for a new household hand soap.

New scent is overpowering

I just received my newest refill bottle and they’ve completely changed the scent. I’m extremely sensitive to any fragrance but have always liked the milk and honey as it wasn’t overpowering. I immediately had an allergic reaction to whatever overpowering floral fragrance they are using now. In my opinion the new scent is disgustingly overpowering, guess I’ll be switching brands.

The new scent is a disaster - I bought a box of 6 and tossed them all in the condo dumpster. It reeks of a strong scent that smells like perfume. Even the cat runs from it in the kitchen. Why and god's sakes did you change it? Ever hear of "If it's not broken, don't fix it". Going old school to a bar of soap - tired of dumb companies changing sht for the sake of changing sht.
