Awful Pissy Perfume Smell

The new scent smells like cheap perfume. It's awful and nauseating. I will not buy this scent anymore. Highly disappointed and dissatisfied.

I did not notice the very small label that said "New Fragrance" on the Milk and Honey soap.. I do not like the new smell and will never buy it again. Very displeased.

We have used this for years. It was a mild, pleasant scent that did not linger and did not dry out your skin. The new scent is horrible. It is overpowering, unpleasant, cheap, won't go away and dries out your hands. It caused allergies and headaches. I will not purchase this again. You just lost a long time customer. Ridiculous decision to change an excellent product.

What is wrong with SOFTSOAP Milk and Honey

What has happened to SOFTSOAP Milk & Honey Hand Soap? It is my go to hand soap for years and Inusually stock up, but now it seems that all vendors are selling a product that looks the same but is NOT! The smell is:strong and triggers nasal allergies. Potent smell lingers on hands and is impossible to wash off and dries hands leaving you feeling swollen. I have a couple of each bottles and the difference between the two VERY obvious. Why would the formula be changed if it was so good and everyone loved it. It was mild and smooth and very popular. Now, the company needs to address and understand that this is a serious quality control problem. Whether the formula has in fact been changed or it has suffered a cross-contamination during manufacturing; this needs to be addressed. Something somewhere has gone terribly wrong and needs to be corrected.

Cons: Difficult To Use, Dries Skin, Poor Lather, Sticky Residue, Unpleasant Smell

New Scent is Overpowering

I have been buying softsoap for years. I just recently stocked up again and apparently they changed the scent? It's not good. It is way too strong. My hands now smell like they've been doused in fabric softener. It doesn't make you feel clean. I'm going to have to return and buy a different brand. Please bring back the previous scent.

I am so incredibly upset with the new changes and I'm begging you... yes, literally begging you... to go back to the old formula. I've been using Softsoap for over 30 years and your Milk & Golden Honey scent has been my go-to for as long as I can remember. I have allergies and have always been sensitive to fragrances, but this one worked perfectly for me. NOT ANYMORE! I just received another large refill bottle and noticed the "new fragrance" note on the label. The ingredients were still the same so I was hoping that it would be ok. But then I started using it and after less than 2 days had to stop. Not only is the scent terrible, but it's aggravating my allergies causing sneezing, stuffiness, and headaches! And as if that wasn't enough, it was drying out my hands! The gentle, non-drying nature of the product is a huge reason dermatologists recommend it. I was recently diagnosed with eczema and others who have it will be familiar with the nightmare unfolding in my life. The first change I made was to switch to using Softsoap Milk & Golden Honey 100% of the time when handwashing. It made a remarkable difference so I had checked that off my overwhelming eczema to-do list. It was the one piece of this incredibly stressful eczema puzzle that had been easy to sort out... with a product I thought I could rely on as I have for decades. So imagine the horror when, just as using your soap became a medical necessity instead of just a choice, you go and change the formula!! I see that I'm not the only one negatively affected by your company's decisions so I'm leaving this review to add my voice to the others in hopes that it will make a difference. In the meantime, I'm on the hunt for a new soap from a different company since I see you've messed up all of yours. I gave that new bottle away so I need to find something before the 4 pump dispensers in my house are empty. The disappointment and stress are real. Please, please, PLEASE bring the old formula back for us!!
