No holes, no nails, easy to hang & straight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved into a new house that was just built. I love putting pictures on my walls but I don't like putting holes in my new walls. I also hate when pictures are not even, straight or the layout you want just doesn't work out. I have seen the commercials for the Command picture strips and decided to try them. I have anything from extremely large and heavy pictures to small wallet size pictures hanging up. Everyone of my pictures in my house is now hung up with some size of command products. I love everyone of them and they work amazingly. This product is very easy to use and you have straight organized items you never have to fix. Another plus if you don't like where you placed the picture 1 min later and its moved with no hole in your wall. I highly recommend this product and will continue to use them. A MUST TRY PRODUCT!!!!!!

Very disappointed in product failure/damage!

I received a 30x 40-inch foamcore-mounted color photo-print as a gift for X-mas. The artist and offeror expressly recommended using this Commnand mounting product to hang the picture in the vaulted gable wall on an interior stairwell of my home.
I mounted the photo print in accordance with the product instructions. One month later and this morning I awaken to find an abrasion on an adjacent wall and the entire 2.5 pound print laying face-down on the stairs, damaged/ripped with the Command mounting strips still affixed to the foamcore backing, but not to the wall.
While I've previousl;y used Command hook products for even-heavier picture hanging, to say that I'm diappointed in the failure of this product - moreover the damage to the expensive ($150) print - is an understatement.
Upon closer inspection, I see where 3M discretely placed a disclaimer on their product packaging that waives any guarantee or responsibility for damage arising from even the designated and appropriate use of their product. This is hardly an incentive to recommend or use Command products in the future.

Perfect for hard office walls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just moved into a new office and the staff told me it was nearly impossible to hang pictures, diplomas, etc., because the walls are so dense.
I found the large hanging strips in our office supplier's catalog and found them really easy to use and the perfect solution to our dense walls. I've hung all my materials and we've ordered more for everyone else to use.
Thanks for a great product!

Little Miracles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved into a new house this year and the last thing I wanted to do was mark up all the walls as I always do trying to hang pictures. I used the picture hanging strips for all my frames and they work great! The best part is when I need to make a change I can just take them down and NO MESS OR HOLES IN THE WALLS. WHOO HOO! For my larger pictures that needed to be mounted in the wall, I still used the strips to center them in place and keep from moving. These are my little miracles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read the directions, and hung my frame accordingly. The frame crashed to the floor the following day, and was destroyed. Will never try this product for hanging pictures again. It does not work.

pictures keep falling off wall.

I just bought these to hang several pictures. I bought eight packages which should hang at least 32 picutres. I am using two strips on either side of a 20x10 frame. The first picture I tried to hang the strips stuck to the frame but would not stick to wall. I will admit that I only cleaned the wall with a wet cloth. My fault. Then I cleaned the wall with 91% isopropyl and replaced the wall side with new strips. The picture fell off within 4 hours. On one side the strip detached from the wall on the other the strips detached from each other. I cleaned the wall AGAIN and attached a new strip to the wall and then pressed the picture to the strips until they "clicked" together. This lasted about an hour. Picture has again fallen to the floor this time damaging the frame. I am returning the remaining strips and will go back to putting holes in my wall.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fist success, then failure
on February 15, 2015

My first try was a great success. Thereafter, failure and waste of money. Biggest complaint is the directions on the back of package. If I can read the microscopic font 0 with my glasses on, they keep referring to "remove" red strips or green strips. My purchases never have those designated colors. Next, I follow directions but somewhere between step 4 and 5 when they say press to wall, then remove bottom first, everything peels off. So then, how can I wait and hour if nothing is stuck to the wall. And do they really mean clean my painted walls with alcohol first? Directions are insufficient and more confusing the simpler they try to make it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
