The shredder works. I am disturbed that mt package was not delivered to me. It was delivered to someone who did not pay for it. A second one was sent which was delivered. Maybe you should find a new delivery company.

This shredder gets too warm too quickly. My previous shredder could go for a long time before it would get too hot. This one generally stops once the holder fills. It's no big deal and once it cools it works just fine.

Unfortunately this shredder was absolutely useless. It would not take multiple pages to shred at once even though it claims to be able to shred in 8-page batches. It had to be fed one page at a time and then would jam after about 3-4 pages.

While it shreds well the speed is quite slow and if you don't feed the paper precisely down into the slot it does not grab it. Additionally the directions say you have to shred for a very short time then let it sit for 15 minutes. Our original Staples shredder was a workhorse fast and could run for an hour before needing to be "rested."
