We bought the shredder and brought it home. We read all the directions etc. The shredder would not work. It would only stay on for a few seconds and did not cut correctly. We carried it back and they gave us another one and it works fine.

I was needing another cross-cut shredder for my other one died after 22 years. Yes these shredders do last a long time. Having a shredder has eliminated extra papers floating around my house.

Unboxed the shredder after picking it up and immediately started showing the overheat light after 1 piece of paper. Extremely disappointed.

The shredding is larger than my old one and doesn't seem to shred as quickly. Otherwise it functions fine.
