It's fine but I didn't think about how heavy & cumbersome it is to lift the top off. I use to have a pull out basket and I'm sorry I didn't get another like that one. My fault for not paying alittle extra but it would have been worth it!!

I would recommend this shredder to anyone with a lot of shredding to do. It handles 6-7 sheets very well and doesn’t overheat like my previous fellows machine did. This machine is also VERY quiet.

The shredder seems like a good light duty machine. The big issue is that the paper has to go in just so in order for it not to get caught on the entry opening. Not such an issue if you are doing a few pieces but if you have 10-20 sheets at one time (not at the same time but the same usage) it gets annoying.

This is my second Staples shredder and does what it needs to do. The repository has shrunk in size. Wish it were larger like my first shredder. Price was much better on Staples.com than in the store. Check on-line for price match.
