The tape is strong and holds well. It does not splinter if you lose the beginning of the tape roll and have to use yor nails to start the roll again. Some less quality tapes splinter into different segments. This tape did not.

While this tape does function as tape the adhesive leaves random stripes on the tape as it is unrolled for use. It is also very difficult to unroll evenly. The dispenser is fine and works well.
