While this tape does function as tape the adhesive leaves random stripes on the tape as it is unrolled for use. It is also very difficult to unroll evenly. The dispenser is fine and works well.

The pros - more tape at lower cost than brand name. The cons - This tape is very brittle and when the leading edge slips off the cutter and sticks to the role it is very difficult to get it started again without the tape splitting. I am going back to brand name.
