Ziploc is my tried

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ziploc is my tried and tried, besides my reusable bags. But I have noticed my items in the freezer still get freezer burn. Which could be a freezer problem and not a bag problem. So I didn't dock for this. But I've also noticed more than a few times, the bags will rip across, about a half inch below the seal. I don't know if it's at the seal seam or what, but it's frustrating.

While I believe that most bags are created equal, I have found that the Ziploc freezer bags are the best freezer bags that I've used. I have tried other brands but found that Ziploc's marginally thicker plastic really does make a difference to keeping food fresh in the freezer longer. While these bags are fairly expensive I think that for this particular use they are the best option and would recommend them.

The double seal is awesome and you never have to wonder if it is properly closed. I reuse my bags a number of times by washing them and these hold up really nicely without getting all dingy. I always have a couple different sizes in my drawers!
