[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to use these for freezing leftovers! They are great and they keep the food fresh and not frostbitten. I can even freeze things like Alfredo sauce or soup. I lay them flat in the freezer and then once they're frozen I can put them upright like a filing system. It's awesome!

These seem gigantic (and they are) but they are much more useful than you think! They have a great seal and so handy for storing everything from chicken bones to loaves of bread. I used to use these to make kimchi and they were perfect for that purpose. Weirdly very versatile, this is the size you never knew you needed.

I use these bags when I'm preserving foods like apples in the fall. Last fall I preserved thousands of apples and many of them were put into these bags and they are all just as fresh as the day I put them in and froze them. They don't puncture easily like some bags and the seal is really good. This is the only kind of bags I trust to store my food for long periods of time.

The freezer gallons are definitely made from high quality plastic and the stay open design makes it easier to fill the bags. They stay airtight with the design of the seal. Definitely worth buying.

There is a definite problem with the zippers on your bags. Bought the gallon bags 3 times in the last 3 months or so and the quality of the zippers has got so bad, I am looking for an alternative brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
