I have used Ziploc bags for many years. The 'new' tab seal is a good design with poor workmanship or a poor design. Most of the time when I unzip the bag, the bag tears just below the seam. Also the bags are very difficult to unzip. they tend to stick together too tight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Everyone knows of the Ziploc brand as they've been around forever. Luckily, they have improved their technology with these gallon freezer bags. It sealed perfectly and kept all my food safe.

I use these bags in my class room for student storage. I was hoping the easy open tab would be better, but I've had more than 20% tear after minimal use. The kids store their headphones and flashdrives in them and they are constantly tearing.

I just opened a new box . Three of the six bag all on size bags split under the "zipper". There was homemade Carmel corn in the bags. Needless to say it spilled in the grocery bag we were transporting them in. I am very disappointed because the ingredients were not cheap plus time in preparation. Will see what happens with the rest of the box. This is the first time something like this happened. Maybe I got a defective box

I have always used Ziploc bags since the beginning of time. Not anymore! The quality has severely diminished. I can't even marinate meat anymore in these bags without the contents leaking through, seems to be very porous now. Also, I agree with the other reviews . . . the easy open tabs are awful!

NOT waterproof, so how are they airtight?

I put ice and water in the bags for injuries and every single one of them leaks. If the water can leak out, then air can get in. You have a manufacturing issue that you should fix. You're the biggest maker of these in the world, what a shame that your product is so bad. The seal on the zip part is worthless if it leaks elsewhere.

Easy open tabs tear too easy!

I love ziplock products but the easy open tabs storage and freezer bags tabs tear off and its almost impossible to open the bag thereafter. I bought several 75 count quart bags and now I'm stuck with a real problem!
