I also like the grip n seal technology which is very useful. I think it's a good product for storing food in freezer.

I have always used Ziploc brand bags but have always preferred the freezer bags over the standard bags, even for everyday use. I especially like that they now are able to stand on their own so no additional hands are needed. My only complaint which is minor is just the perforation on the cardboard box to help have an opening to grab the bags while in a drawer needs to be done a little better. Otherwise, I will continue to purchase this item as it is number one in bags for my family.

This bag and all of the other new versions I have tried are poorly constructed. The freezer bags, gallon and quart, split down the side when trying to remove them from the box. The plastic is thinner and not as strong as the previous version.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We used ours to marinate meats before grilling and filling with snacks after opening the original packaging. The bag's stay open design worked well when preparing foods for the freezer, while also laying flat in the freezer without wasting space. In addition, the rolled over top while filling allows the bag to close smoothly and cleanly when ready. Would definitely buy.
