I too purchased the large freezer bags and had issues with the bottom leaking. The design of the bag seems to be lighter and thinner than the older bags I had purchased in he past. The reason I purchased the ZipLoc brand is because I wanted a good seal for my meat items, turns out they were a disappointment. I ended up double wrapping the meats which costs more, so in the end I didn't save any money and actually costed more. This was earlier this summer, I recently checked the freezer and the double wrap seems to help a lot. Regards

Oh no! We're truly sorry to disappoint you, Ken. While we expect Ziploc® Freezer Bags to be leak proof for all of your storage needs, this certainly doesn't sound like the quality we expect from any of our bags. We'd like to have the chance to help make this right. In order to do so, please give us a call at 1-800-558-5252 (weekdays, 8 AM to 5 PM CT) and share reference number: 22188813. Hope to speak soon! -Alyssa, SC Johnson Consumer Care

Zip lock is my go-to products for freezer storage options. I use these 2 gallon size because they are big enough for breaking down bulk meats and vegetables. These are also great for marinating meats and vegetables. They hold up well and keep frozen items frost free. I recommend them to anyone that needs frozen storage.

Oddly enough we have found that these bags are life savers for soccer moms!!! If you are a mom of an athlete...you know the smell that radiates from the shoes. We drive 5 hours to play and then 5 hours home, so you can imagine having to endure that smell for so long. These bags seal so well that we don't smell anything at all!! Thank you ziplock for making the drive more bearable!

This should Be in every household! It's just one of the items that is often used for so many things. I marinate fish, meats, and crush cookies in it and etc. Also, mainly to store leftover pizza and such, when I don't feel like cooking. I definitely say it's a must-have in every home!

Zip lock is a staple brand. We know we can trust certain products to work and when it comes to containg food or other goods, ziplock has got it covered. I never have issues with these bags. Sometimes I go with the cheaper brands and the zipper comes off before I even get it open and it goes in the trash. This is one thing I'd recommend not skimping on!
