Leaks are not good.

I used the 32 gallon storage bags to store 4 gallons of chili in a hotel refrigerator so I could use it as give away chili at a large chili cook off the next day. When I opened the fridge the next morning, the whole bottom of the fridge was covered with chili. Quite a mess, best of it I was not at home.

Like Tina Tuna, I have had the same experience with the gallon freezer bags ripping. I have used Zip Locks forever and now I too am re-thinking whether I want to continue to use bags that rip. SC Johnson, please go back to the testing lap and make these hold up better. Thank you!

It used to be once in a while I'd get a leaky freezer bag. Now it's so often we have to place them on a plate or something similar to catch any fluids leaking out. They have made messes way too often on my counter or in the fridge that I'm looking at other brands.

I would not buy or recommend these bags

I recently bought there for freezing some of my harvest from the garden and the majority of the bags have ripped open causing messes on the counter tops and my freezer, the new design of these bags ( new stay open design )are horrible and not durable. I typically always use ziplock and will never use this kind again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. the first thing I noticed upon initial inspection of the Ziplock bags, was the unique "Grip N Seal Technology ". I felt like these Ziplock bags sealed up better than any Ziplocs I've used in the past. I also like the stay open feature in case you need to ladle/poor something into the Ziplock bag for later storage. Definitely impressed by this brands continuing innovation, and consistency in making high quality, food storage bags.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never had issues with Ziploc brand. I used this sample to store my home made American Buttercream Cream Frosting. The stay open feature helped either filling the bag and scooping the frosting out.

Everything I've put in a Ziploc freezer bag has gotten freezer burned. I buy food in bulk and freeze it to save money. With Ziploc, all that money is pretty much wasted because I can't cook the food I put in these freezer bags. Even after a week, they have ice crystals forming. Don't buy this product. You will end up losing money
