I used the gallon bags for cooking fried chicken, until the zippers suddenly stopped holding and flour, chicken, and spices ended up in the kitchen sink!!!

Everything I've put in a Ziploc freezer bag has gotten freezer burned. I buy food in bulk and freeze it to save money. With Ziploc, all that money is pretty much wasted because I can't cook the food I put in these freezer bags. Even after a week, they have ice crystals forming. Don't buy this product. You will end up losing money

Argh ! I use the Ziplock Freezer Bags at home as well as in my restaurant. We go thru alot of them as we are always repackaging the cases of phillies, Steak fingers, Chicken Fried Steaks , ect for easier storage and handling. We also bar-b-que for the restaurant and use Ziplocks to store chopped beef , puled pork and sausage . They just are not working for us...all of the cooks complain about how hard they are to deal with, I agree.

After years of use, Ziplock has finally hit bottom. With each new line of freezer bags, they continually lose their quality. These Easy Open bags are the last straw. Leaks, tears, rips and just plain garbage. Now looking for an alternative. Should be called Zipluck. You need lots of luck to get them to work.

I have been a loyal Ziploc user for over 35 years and was always pleased with the product until recently. I used Ziploc bags for arts & craft supplies, storage of many other items especially food. I recently noticed that items were going stale within a couple of days whenever I used the snack bags. Cookies and crackers would be stale within a day or 2 as well as vegetables. Also the bags would split open easily at the bottom of the bags. To have to throw away food because it has gone bad makes it very disappointing as I am on a budget. I bought Ziploc because it was a fantastic product but now I have to look for something else. Please fix this problem. I miss the quality please bring it back.

I'm so disappointed I spent money on this product. I want the old design back!!!!! These are horrible. The easy tab rips off when you try to use it, the bags feel thinner and cheap, and when I go to put something from the freezer into the sink to defrost the bag fills with water which makes me think that it's not sealed at all! So it's not really preventing freezer burn, is it?? If anyone has any recommendations for a different brand that actually works I would love to hear it. I was a loyal customer for a long time but this makes me want to switch.

I have used the Ziploc brand for many years to freeze harvested game (ie. fish, frogs, shrimp) in water. It is hands down the best way to preserve something for long term. The new bags do not seal well and leak at the seal and corners. I am anxious to see improvements made to remedy this problem
