New bags are Sorry!

I have used Ziploc freezer bags for as long as I can remember-as has my mother in my younger years. However, the last boxes of g=quart and gallon bags have been horrible. It takes 15 minutes to get them sealed (or so you think), only to take one out of the freezer to find it open!! This has happened on many occasions. I don't like the zipper bags-so won't switch to them. I am paying a high price for a low quality product! Please bring back the quality bags your company is known for!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this bag design

This is so much easier for storing in the fridge and freezer and not having a mess. The only thing I didn't like was the cardboard panel for opening on the top. It was difficult to open without unnecessarily ripping the box a bit.

The opening was basically destroyed by me trying to get it open. The bags themselves are sturdy and strong. I normally buy a generic slide lock type so I was glad to try something name brand and different. They do stand up, probably would be handy for berries being added. I put some pork roast in one and put it in the freezer. The double seal made me feel good about it not leaking. Time will tell if the smoky bbq smell is held inside or can be smelled in the freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to try Ziploc freezer bags with stay open design for my honest review. At first glance I thought they would be an ordinary ziploc bag, but after trying them out, I was pleasantly surprised. These bags work great especially when you have a lot of stuff to put in them. With the stay open design it was easy to pour food in them like cereal without it collapsing. It can really come in handy when filling it up. I only wish it had a wider flat bottom.

Very sturdy and they don't fall or bend like other brands seem to do. This is my new go-to storage bag!
