Even though they're pricier,

Even though they're pricier, I do think that the Ziploc brand are a little bit sturdier than the generic brand. These are good for freezing leftovers. My parents have a garden and they freeze vegetables in these bags as well instead of canning sometimes.

Worst ziplocs I have ever bought

I bought a case of ziplocs, 38 seal top bags, the opening is stuck together and have to be ripped to open them then they cannot be sealed again. Each one is stuck at the opening. I use scotch tape to seal food closed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I didn't know these existed before this year. I've used them to send large packets of worksheets home for distance learners. They're large enough to hold 100 plus pages of 8.5 x 11 pages. I'll buy these again to keep student's library books safe in the future, there's always a student that ends up with a lunchbox leak. It'll keep their materials safe.

Freezer burn on $200 worth of meat within 5 days

We purchase our meat once a month and put it in the freezer. We have always used vacuum seal bags but this month decided to try ziploc freezer bags. It was a mistake. Within 5 days all of our meat has freezer burn. We squeezed out as much air as possible and still, our food got freezer burned. These do not work to keep freezer food fresh.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ziploc Brand Freezer Bags Two Gallon/XL are a good seal for keeping meat like hamburger frozen. If I know that I have to much meet then I put in right in a Ziploc as soon as I get it home and it is not Expensive and yes I would recommend it to a friend.
