Rips easily when you open it

I've used ziploc freezer bags for years. But the new style "easy open" version is terrible and you've lost me as a customer once my current stock is gone. I always reused them multiple times, by turning them inside out to thoroughly wash them. Now not only can you not do that without tearing them along the seam, you can barely open them without tearing. There are few replacements that work as well but not only in the interest of sustainability but also because I'm tired of being ripped off by planned obsolescence, I'll have to find a new way to store things I want to keep fresh and dry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality Has Gone Downhill

I'm not sure what has changed with this product. I've bee buying these bags for years and loved them. Lately the zippers keep ripping when I open the bag. I feel like most of the box is useless and they are not inexpensive!
