No I won't buy this again

I use this product to store Swedish meatballs. I get a giant pack of meatballs then separate them into these storage bags. Once I put the bags in the freezer, the bags will not open. I have to cut the top off. What good is that? And it is frustrating because it happens every time, no matter what I freeze in the bags.

Leaks are not good.

I used the 32 gallon storage bags to store 4 gallons of chili in a hotel refrigerator so I could use it as give away chili at a large chili cook off the next day. When I opened the fridge the next morning, the whole bottom of the fridge was covered with chili. Quite a mess, best of it I was not at home.

Leaks in corners after removing from Freezer

Heavy family users of this brand of bags but recently, both our Quart and Gallon size freezer bags have been failing at the seems/corners after removing from the freezer to defrost in the refrigerator. This has happened several times, as the first few we thought we had made a mistake and maybe punctured the bag. As you can imagine, this creates a large mess in our refrigerator as all the juices from, say our pork loin, meat leaks all over the inside. Not fun, as it leaked all down into the veggie drawer. Not something you want to deal with as you are trying to take care of two kids and feed your family. Use with Caution.

Bad change

The formula has changed and so has the bag. They rip at the seam edge and do not seal completely. Bad decision to change a great product and cheapen it

New bags are Sorry!

I have used Ziploc freezer bags for as long as I can remember-as has my mother in my younger years. However, the last boxes of g=quart and gallon bags have been horrible. It takes 15 minutes to get them sealed (or so you think), only to take one out of the freezer to find it open!! This has happened on many occasions. I don't like the zipper bags-so won't switch to them. I am paying a high price for a low quality product! Please bring back the quality bags your company is known for!

Just about every bag in the box leaks. I thought I had purchased a bad set of boxes from a bulk warehouse club but after double bagging now on my 2nd set of boxes they are all leaking. Could buy cheap no name brand & would probably get better quality.

Not the norm!

Oddly enough we have found that these bags are life savers for soccer moms!!! If you are a mom of an athlete...you know the smell that radiates from the shoes. We drive 5 hours to play and then 5 hours home, so you can imagine having to endure that smell for so long. These bags seal so well that we don't smell anything at all!! Thank you ziplock for making the drive more bearable!
