I've been using this product forever with no issues, it was great. Then this new easy open tab happened and EVERY SINGLE one of the freezer bags I've used from the last two packs (at least 40 bags and counting) the seal just keeps ripping off the one side and I can't seal it back up. I could handle it if it was a few bags, but not every single bag, how frustrating! Apparently I'm not the only one throwing all of my money down the drain on these "new and improved" bags. Will be looking for alternative brands.

I have used ziplock products for at least 30 years. I have been very disappointed in the quality in the last few months. When you try to open the bag it pulls apart and I have wasted so many bags. I am thinking I need to change brands.

I really like the new Grip n Seal technology.

I just purchased the new Ziploc gallon freezer bags with the Grip' n Seal Technology. It is a unique design how you flip the top down and then it sort of platforms itself open with a textured bottom where you can add liquid with whatever it is that you're putting in the bag. I like the way it stays open for easy filling. The new zipper gripping technology is really nice. I still haven't figured out the texture on the bottom. It is very different. But in the instructions, it doesn't explain why it's like that. However, in reading the instructions, it is the first time I've ever seen that you can hand wash and dry Ziploc's as long as you're not putting raw meat or fish in them. I definitely will look out for them in the future.

I've used ziplock for years, now I'm looking for a new brand. The new "easy tabs" rip from the bag making it nearly impossible to open. The quality of the plastic has down down and more than half the time now they leak. Hopefully they make some changes soon.
