Every single bag rips when you go to open it at the top

These new Ziploc bags are terrible

The new zipper is impossible to close properly and then once sealed are impossible to open without ripping the top off the bag.

I'm disappointed that only the box indicates that its contents are freezer bags, i.e., the bags themselves don't indicate that they're freezer bags. Why ? I see that you also make storage bags. Are those bags stamped as "storage bags" ? I think you should make it clear to consumer to have either bag properly marked.

Terrible bags...will never use again

I spent a lot of money to buy the best bags I could find in order to marinate some chicken. After opening a brand new box of these pieces of junk and DOUBLE BAGGING the chicken...I had chicken juice and marinade all over the place. I do not recommend and I will be sticking with the generic store brands from now on. Thanks for the mess on my island Ziploc!

NOT waterproof, so how are they airtight?

I put ice and water in the bags for injuries and every single one of them leaks. If the water can leak out, then air can get in. You have a manufacturing issue that you should fix. You're the biggest maker of these in the world, what a shame that your product is so bad. The seal on the zip part is worthless if it leaks elsewhere.

Quality has changed - sides rip as you open the bag

I've never had problems with the Ziploc gallon size freezer bags until my last box. Over and over they have ripped down the side of the bag when I open it right out of the box. I hope they fix this issue.

Don't fix what's not broken

These used to be the best bags. Now due to the grip feature they split when you try to open them after being frozen... they were awesome before. Now they are weak. Change them back.

Leaks after freezing

I've tried countless times to freeze soup in these bags. Full, half full, next to empty. They freeze and store fine. But if i try to defrost them in a bowl of cool water, they ALWAYS leak. Water gets in. Soup gets out. Every time. Very frustrating!!
