Ziploc Branded Bags are Just Different in a Good Way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I've used many different brands of ziplock style bags but no other brand can compare to quality of Ziploc. These bags just seem more durable and you can just feel the amazing quality of Ziploc's patented sealing "zip" every time you open or close it. Truly, no other brand I've ever used comes close to effectively replicating the silky smooth feel of zipping one of these bags shut nor do they ever feel as secure once the seal is actually closed. My only gripe with them are how expensive they are so they're not really worth using in "dispose after utilizing" scenarios but if you want a ziplock bag that lasts which you can rely on to stay sealed, I definitely recommend these.

We use a lot of Ziplock bags, but the new design on the 1 gallon Ziplock bags with the "tab" just doesn't seem to work very well. The tab invariably tears, and then the bag is nearly impossible to open.

I've stopped buying the quart size since they've been redesigned. I can't tell you how many i've wasted trying to open or reopen. They tear at the top instead of opening. Then I have to unlock it using my fingernails or just trash it if it's new. It happens to my father-in-law too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would buy these products again, but you can do the same thing with the original Ziploc freezer bags also. These bags do you make it make it a little bit easier because it has lines to show where the folding I just wouldn't pay any extra for them. Overall solid product as always from Ziploc

This new design with the Easy-Open tab is a nice feature, but now the Smart-Tab Zip is absolutely terrible! It takes so much effort to get the them to match up! The old design is much easier to use and more reliable. My Mother in Law was visiting this past weekend when I was trying to close one of the bags. I expressed my frustration to her and she mirrored back the same thoughts. Please bring back the old design. I will not buy this type of bags again.
