not for cooking, I always use these for book bags for my students. Especially during the pandemic, I had to pack homework and books for my students, and these two gallon bags are strong enough to carry everything and put and together organized for my students to take home.

I just bought these 2 gallon Ziploc freezer bags 0MG. So so cheap. The plastic or whatever this material is is so thin. They couldn't use any less material.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These are very large

These are very large bags so I don't use them often, but sometimes this large size is just what I need. I use them for sous vide cooking large cuts of meat like a large pork shoulder, and this is the perfect size. Like all zip loc bags, the plastic is sturdy and the seal is strong, which is essential for sous vide cooking. Other brands are not as reliable. I won't risk ruining my meal by using anythimh else.
