I have been using Ziploc bags and containers for years. I just purchased the 4 pack(38 bags per box) of Easy open tab Freezer bags. I am ready to throw them away. So far I have only used a few bags but each of them ripped at the top side seam and the easy tab tore off, making it almost impossible to open the bag again. Do not buy this product!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ziploc has ALWAYS been my "go to" bags when freezing. I have been a Ziploc user for years, especially when canning/freezing season comes in. Recently, I ran out of the older freezer bags I had in stock, and had to buy the new ones. What happened?! I pulled a bag out of the box, and had to look twice to be sure I had picked up the correct ones. They are SO much thinner, had holes in the first 2 I pulled out of the box, and they don't seal as well as the older ones. Epic fail!!! I will be returning the new stock I just bought, (pint, quart and gallon bags) and looking for another brand.

I have always insisted on Ziploc bags, nothing else...My husband was processing some meat last night and he complained constantly, the bags rip at the bottom and do not seal as they used to...I garden and store all the ceggies I can in bags and had experienced the same thing...the plastic is just as thick and durable...we are now going to search out other bagging options.....Please restore the oldie but goodie bags...please
