What happened to the sturdy bags we used to get?

As you can see from comments, many are unhappy with what ever change has been made to your freezer bags(for me specifically the 1gal freezer bags). Difficult to open the ziploc bag straight out of the box, more often than not ripping along the ziploc! Yes, I am sure you have a large part of the freezer bag market, but what ever you did WILL change that. Unless your manufacturing process changes, you have lost me as a customer for this size bag. Good luck!

Stay Open Feature is Terrible

The stay open feature is terrible. I have been looking for the regular freezer gallon bags and it seems they all have been converted to this new feature. I will be searching for a different brand bag.

I just bought these 2 gallon Ziploc freezer bags 0MG. So so cheap. The plastic or whatever this material is is so thin. They couldn't use any less material.

I too purchased the large freezer bags and had issues with the bottom leaking. The design of the bag seems to be lighter and thinner than the older bags I had purchased in he past. The reason I purchased the ZipLoc brand is because I wanted a good seal for my meat items, turns out they were a disappointment. I ended up double wrapping the meats which costs more, so in the end I didn't save any money and actually costed more. This was earlier this summer, I recently checked the freezer and the double wrap seems to help a lot. Regards

Recent bags are thinner and rip easily

I've noticed that recent freezer bags I purchased are noticeably thinner than older ones. And as many have mentioned here, they easily rip apart at the top seam line after one use. Sadly this seems to always be the trend for many consumer products. Newer versions are inferior to the old ones just so it seems like the manufacturer is maintaining their prices.

Ziploc Gallon Bags Disappointed

I have been using Ziploc bags for 45 years and the whole case of Gallon bags I bought are defective. Everyone of them and I paid a lot for a whole case of them. EVERY BAG I opened up with my Sausage and vegetables are in have ripped at the top when opening them and can not be resealed. I am so disappointed. I need to find another brand, can't keep spending money on these bags if they are not going to preform like they used to be.

Epic Fail!

The new "stand up, fill" bags are a 100% fail! The top portion of the bag rips off so easily it renders them useless! Have used Ziploc forever but they are now trash.

I would not buy or recommend these bags

I recently bought there for freezing some of my harvest from the garden and the majority of the bags have ripped open causing messes on the counter tops and my freezer, the new design of these bags ( new stay open design )are horrible and not durable. I typically always use ziplock and will never use this kind again.
