Always used Ziploc brand bags I am very disappointed with them besides the new Zipper design which tears when trying to open them and dont seal well they are much lower quality now very thin i just had to throw 3 lbs of hamburger and 2 lbs steak tips away because they got very freezer burned guess ill have to find another brand i cant afford to throw food away

While we haven't made any recent changes to the thickness of our bags, food can be stored in Freezer bags for up to one year (depending on the type of food). For best results, you can wrap food first and make sure to store it away from the freezer door where temperatures fluctuate more often. Have used Ziploc for many years, but the last 2 boxes I have bought tear down the sides when you initially try to open them and if you manage to get them open, resealing them is a lengthy task.

Ziploc freezer bags used to be an awesome product. They sealed very easily and they were tough and never leaked. The bags today are impossible to close and they always leak. I thought they would figure out how to fix this but they haven't. So I will be leaving the brand.

Just about every bag in the box leaks. I thought I had purchased a bad set of boxes from a bulk warehouse club but after double bagging now on my 2nd set of boxes they are all leaking. Could buy cheap no name brand & would probably get better quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review... The Ziploc gallon-sized bags are the best food storage bags on the market. The zipper always works properly, they never tear, and they hold a lot. The price for 60 bags was very reasonable, too.
