What's different?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use only ziploc freezer bags so I was interested to see if these stay open design bags actually worked. Well, they do and they don't. Point being, they seem the same as the current ziploc freezer bags we already use. The only difference seems to be the indented lines on the bags that show you where to fold the top and where the bottom should lay. Let's be honest, they look exactly like the regular ones and when I fold the regular ones in the same spot, they stand up when filled in the same way. I was expecting these to have a flat bottom to stand up and they don't. No need to spend more money on these, just get the regular ziploc freezer bags.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The new top tab design is flawed, they are constantly ripping away from the bag, the whole top of the bag seems weak now, and not very sturdy - please go back to the old design

Ziploc press and seal gallon size freezer bags are incredibly sturdy and seal well. The quality is good and the bags can be used for many storage purposes. I'm not sure I like the way these sit up for easy filling. I have seen some bags that the bottom actually gets flat to fill and I think that would work better.
