I like to weigh and divide berries to freeze and thaw as needed. I also use them when I need to trust the durability of shaking a sauce or marinade on a protein without rupture. Strong enough for bone in pork chops without penetrating the bag. I trust microwaving items for short periods without melting the baggie. A staple in our pantry.

We use the galling size freezer bags for different storage purposes. These are great for packing while traveling, storing food, or just for everyday uses. They are very durable but also easy enough for kids to use and get into (if needed.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All my kids are grown and have families of their own. I'm used to cooking for a large group and with just me and my mom here that's a problem. Neither one of us can eat a whole lot. And neither one of us want stuck eating left overs for the next 3 days. No one wants to eat the same thing over and over!(don't want to throw it away either) I've tried other freezer bags just to end up with a mess because the bag didn't seal properly. Zip lock bags seal easily and are really strong , they protect your food from freezer burn too. I no longer have to worry about wasting food or eating leftovers day after day.
