How Ziploc Brand Took a Good Freezer Bag and Made It Better!

This is the first time that I have purchased the gallon bags that have the new Stay Open design for easy filling. What a smart design! Since the bag stays open, I can fill a bag with leftover food without requiring a second person to help me hold it. As well, the plastic is sturdy and thick enough that it should not leak. I also love that the plastic is BPA-free and the seals on the top of the bag have that double-zip design so it should not leak.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love/hate relationship

We have used Ziploc products for many years. The gallon size has always been a staple in our home. However, recently, we have gotten multiple boxes where the seam separates on one side when we tried to open the bag. Typically they have always been reliable, but something has gone wrong with the quality control. I hope the company figures out what is going wrong so we don't have to continue throwing unused bags away, what a waste!

I have summarized the following methods, the marinated chicken breasts are really tasty and not woody, how can not get tired of eating. Marinated chicken breast each time I am marinated 1 week amount, put in Ziploc airtight bag, put in the refrigerator refrigerated storage, very convenient, double honeycomb sealing mouth design, twice the freshness, sealing effect is proper, there will not be any odor, and does not contain BPA does not contain plasticizers, safe and healthy. The fish and shrimp meat in the refrigerator Vegetables and fruits are also preserved in this package, put on 4.5 days, are still very fresh ~ preservation of freshness at the same time the refrigerator are tidy a lot of it. Widened easy to open the design, you can put the family cereals, cookies and bread, nuts and snacks, and this dense bag can be recycled, environmentally friendly and affordable. A variety of specifications, you can choose as needed.

I have used them to marinade meats, prepare foods for the freezer and store left overs. These bags function just fine for that as they always have. I didn't find the stand up feature to really be worth the hassle though. Getting it set up right so the bag remains standing while filling it is a bit of a pain, and not worth the hassle to me. It is easier to continue using the baggie holder I have.

So great for meal prepping

Leaks

My family has used these bags for years. I'm not sure what has changed but, these bags now leak. I knew that there was a problem with leaking so, when packing my ice for a trip to the beach I double bagged my Ice. To my dismay even that didn't stop the melted ice from leaking all over my cooler. unfortunatly for me I had put my fit bit in the cooler while I was swimming. I should have just worn it in the ocean. Ziploc bags have always been so good I don't know what has happened to the quality. I won't be using them again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this ziplock freezer bags gallon size from right at home free sample. I used it to keep my kids extra clothes in their book bag and it holds pretty nice. My oldest one was not always keep her lunch bag close all the way and sometime things spill in her book bag and thanks to ziplock bag her clothes stay clean and dry from all the mess! It also holds my meat in the freezer. Thanks so much ziplock and right at home!
