I've been using ziploc bags for many years and they are always great quality, so does this one. I found them big enough to have space for meat for my big family. My daughter made chicken noodle and bean soup and we put it in these bags, total of 5 bags, about 2 helping each bag, so there weren't overfilled. Froze them and when I thawed each one in water, every one leak! They work great for solid items, jus not for liquid.

I have used nothing but Ziploc Freezer bags exclusively for YEARS. After purchasing these gallon freezer bags, I have found the quality to be what you would expect with a VERY CHEAP off-brand. The bags leak and get pin-holes in them. They do not seal well and they are VERY thin. Ziploc - please bring back your old design of the double zipper bags. The quality that we all have come to depend on from Ziploc. Until then, you have a faithful customer who will not buy Ziploc products.

I just threw out about half a box of these because seemingly every other bag would not close, no matter how hard I tried. I am now using some old store brand bags with a Halloween print that bought on clearance. Please change the design! It's not just this size either. All bags of this design are worthless now.
