Love these bags

They can be stood on the counter to be filled so you can use both hands. I like that they are microwave safe but are not made with bpa plastics.

I've tried store brand, which the old adage-you get what you pay for sure does apply. Spend a little extra. Your product will be fresher, your clothes will stay cleaner (because the store brands will tear open much easier!)

I really enjoy this product as it has a strong grip to the closure ensuring that my meat will not spoil in the freezer even when left in for awhile. I also really like the fact that the bags can sit up and open so that I can pour leftovers in them and it won't spill over. My favorite feature is the white label already on the bag so I can label what is inside. Overall, I really don't see how they could make this any better!

Not As Good As They Used Yo Be

I have been a loyal Ziploc consumer for many years and purchase Ziploc Freezer bags in large quantities through the various warehouse clubs. I don't know what's going on with the bags, if they have changed suppliers or what, but the latest batches have a pinkish tinge and the mil is much thinner the older ones, which had more of a bluish tinge to them. Since, they are thinner I've been having to double bag everything before freezing it, which defeats the purpose of being cost effective. They used to be my favorite bags but now I'll have to start comparing with others on the market.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Delivers on its promise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been using Ziploc bags for years and they always keep my food fresh in the fridge and freezer. I also use them for our kids toys and crafts, such as bead necklaces and Legos. This "Stay Open" design add a new convenience to an already great product. Being able to stand the bag up on a flat surface and fill makes using the bags so much easier.

Easy Open Tab design ruined their product!

For years I have used only Ziploc bags. That all changed when a few years ago Ziploc changed their highly successful design and switched to a new seal and bag top called 'Easy Open Tab". Quite frankly it may be easier to open, but you'll never know as they are IMPOSSIBLE to close and get a good seal on. Basically SC Johnson ruined the product line with a completely untested and unnecessary change. I can't buy their product anymore and am now forced to use competitor products which actually work and make an easy seal. Really a shame that they ruined their entire product portfolio with this terrible change.
