[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these for my 3 year old as she loves to paint. Have never seen these in the store before. She loves glitter so this was a real treat for her. Paints applied well to paper. Cleaned up well which was my biggest concern

Pretty Colors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old son and I enjoyed using these on a project for school. The colors are relatively vibrant and metallic is noticeable. Non transfer. Easy to use. Not a lot necessary to achieve look. Will consider other art materials by said maker.

Great for beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with these watercolors. The colors are gorgeous and glide on paper smoothly. I only water paint for fun, so this set worked great for my needs. I love the packaging, because there is enough room for the paint and the brush and the package is closeable. When I'm done, it's very easy to store it and let the paint dry properly.

Colors that pop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set was great for my grandson. The colors really popped and were true to the color palette. The brush was perfect size and had a fine tip for details. The tray has high walls so it was good for mixing colors.

Great watercolors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Prang watercolors are great. The color works well. My 5 year old daughter had no issues with getting them to work. The colors are vivid, the brush is a great quality as well. I like that the water colors are individual little trays, so that it can be changed out with a new color if you run out of one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve bought colored pencils from prang for years and have always had great results. This selection was to help make my children’s artwork better match their imagination. I was really excited to try the glitter water colors because the sparkle can really make things pop.
The attached photos don’t do the glitter justice but it is too difficult to describe without them.
I suggest the following tips. Pre-wet each cell with a good amount of water and let it soften for a few minutes. The paint comes up quickly but the glitter needs a little more time. Clean water and paper towels will help reduce color bleed on the light colors. I found two coats to be the right level of color and glitter (but it may just be that the paint had more time to soften.) The gold and silver are harder to distinguish on white paper.
Overall, it is a great kit with a nice case and brush.

Glitter shines only at certain angles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this set of glitter watercolors. My daughter loves to color and she loves shiny things. I thought this would be perfect for her.
Sadly though the first time she used it and showed her work of art, I thought she had used regular colors and not this set. Only after looking at a certain angle, I realised it was this set. Assuming this is a user error, I used this set myself , with the same result.
I was not happy with the assortment of colors and the colors are not as saturated either. Not really happy.
