Product issue! Upsetting a lot of students!

I ordered these for 3 grades of students in my school since due to Covid, they need their own supplies. They are defective! They were fine when I checked them in and packed them, but even before the students used them, the turquoise and the yellow turned to liquid! It is happening to a few each week. All the other colors are fine so it's not a temperature issue because our school has heat and AC and the temp is constant. I am waiting to hear from my supplier how to resolve the issue. In the meantime, they are a mess! the 8 color sets have been fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the colors and the case!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first.thing I noticed right away was how cute and how well made the case is. I've never seen one like it. Opening up the case I was impressed with how pretty the colors are! The brush is also very nice. I like the pointed tip of the paint brush. My kids and I love art but we have never used any watercolors with a pointed tip paint brush. To me it makes it easier to color in small spaces or to better paint the smaller details. I also love that each color comes out of the box. You just lift it out. I'm pretty sure that is so you can refill it when you run out of one of the colors. I love that! Prang did a great job with the making of this product.

The case keeps it in the perfect place and easy to store. My daughter loves using it as well to express her creativity. Great brand with high quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Watercolor Washable Glitter Set for my nine year old daughter and she had so much fun creating pictures for all of us. The set has 8 vibrant sparkling colors that really sparkle. It’s quick and easy to use with very easy clean up. I recommend this for any child who is old enough to color. It’s washable so no worry about ruining their clothes or the surface they are painting on. My daughters favorite thing about it is the glitter actually shows on her pictures without having to go over it several times. Only thing that could be better is the smell, she think it smells terrible. Definitely recommend for kids who enjoy painting or crafting.

The paint is great -- same as it's always been, but recently the brush has been replaced with a piece of garbage. The old brush used to come to a lovely point, and this one looks like the tail of an angry cat. Bummer. I'm unlikely to buy this again, unless they change the brush quality back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this and thought it was lile other painting products ive purchased but it was a bit better because the colors are vibrant amd creamy and they do not require you to go over your paint coats to show the lovely shades of color. They come in a snap tight plastic container so they can be carried in your school bag without worry of them opening. The small individual pots can be popped out to use individual or left in to use like a palette. The brush is a soft textured quality brush fir using on watercolors without splitting or holding too much product. They leave a lovely vibrant color shade on any paper products and dry quickly to a nice sheen.

Paint does not dry after it is activated

I have purchased many refills of the Oval 8 sets for my middle school art room. The newer formula paints do not dry after they are activated, and stay slimy in the pans. Also, the paint can be re-activated on the paper even after it is fully dry. Students often use too much, and their paper gets sticky as well. If they are not stored level, the paint flows out of the pans into the tray. Older refills (c. 1990) from a previous teacher do not react this way. Also, I recently purchased turquoise and magenta refills to add to my pans, and they are a different formula and don't blend easily with the oval 8 colors.
