Very useful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brightwell light has been very useful and very helpful to have. I am sitting in front of a computer on my laptop for hours on end. The busy light feature has limited interruptions. The breath focus feature has been very helpful during busy and stressful workday. I The multi colored light feature is also visually appealing and add nice ambience to my work area. The you like being compact and easy to pack away is also very nice.

Bright and fun and compact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is such a fun and bright addition to my desktop. With the short cord it’s easy to manage and plug in to my docking station. From there it mounts easily on the monitor or laptop or it can sit at various angles on the desktop - my personal favorite. I like it just to the left of my main monitor to brighten some papers I often keep there for viewing. The cord does not create a tangle or jumble. I tried out and enjoyed all 5 modes but the focus mode is my go-to favorite. I keep it in that mode to brighten my workday and I love it. I usually turn up the warmth slightly and turn down the brightness one tick. Being able to easily fine tune the lighting is very helpful! My office lights go off automatically every 30 minutes so keeping this light on meeting mode when on video calls helped keep me stable and bright. Every time my watch tells me to stand up I do so and then follow up with the breathing mode. It’s a really good reset. The busy mode is easy to toggle in and out of and the instructions are basic and very simple to figure out. I love this light in my work space! I would recommend this to anyone with a dedicated workspace and especially in an open office where the busy indicator could be a helpful cue to those around you.

A lot of great features

It really has a lot of great features depending on how you want to use it. I’ve been mainly testing out the focus feature which has been nice. I’ll definitely continue using it to try out each of the modes and see which I like the best but this has a lot of options for whatever your need is.

Helpful light for meetings and productivity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Brightwell Light through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It has 5 modes several brightness levels and settings to assist in your workday needs. It looks sleek and is designed to be simple to use. You do have to plug it in via USB-c at all times to operate and it doesn’t hold a charge or work if not plugged in but that’s easy enough through your monitors laptop power bank etc. There’s a warm tie-dye looking magenta/orange/yellow light a blue light and a warm white light. My favorite setting is the warm slow pulsing magenta/orange light. The plain warm-white light is helpful for meetings when I have to be on camera since the only window in my home office is to my right. I really like the “busy” feature where it lights up in red at the front and back I almost wish I worked in an office again to be able to utilize it (but maybe not). You can set and position the light on your desk or lightly mount it on your monitors (the clip/base is removeable and can be used horizontally or vertically). I had to change the clip to use it on my monitors and even then it wasn’t too stable. (My monitors are thin at the top but do curve a little at the back so keep that in mind if wanting to mount .) I do wish it was rechargeable and was able to be used without being plugged in but other than that it’s great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this office light to test in exchange for my review thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This light is an absolute piece of junk. Do not waste your money on it. I don’t think I’ll even be able to give it away. It’s incredibly light weight. It does not clip on to your monitor or stay propped up. I attempted to balance it onto my monitor but it kept falling off. The cable to power the light is incredibly short. It will be way too short for anyone using a desktop and monitor. There is a good amount of lighting options but it’s not strong enough to make a noticeable difference. The absolute worst thing about this light is that it must be plugged in the entire time. It is not rechargeable.

Mixed Feelings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this light. I’m not sure I’d actually call it a productivity light; it’s much more like a therapy light to me. If you need this to help increase your lighting for video calls or working on the computer I’m not sure this is the light for you. However if you feel like brighter light helps to boost your mood appreciate a guide for breathing or meditation or enjoy variable lighting then this is a great option for you. The different modes can help with mood or even mental health as something to turn my focus. I’m just disappointed it doesn’t help with lighting for video calls as well as I’d hoped. I also can’t get the attachment to work on my monitor in either of the positions so I have to use it as a standalone. Finally I wish it was rechargeable or at least had that option; it at least can be plugged into my desktop via USB but there’s another USB port taken up for me. Basically I have pretty mixed feelings about it. I do enjoy it as a mood booster but that’s pretty much it.

Hi Katie great to hear you're enjoying the different modes. The desk light is designed to operate while plugged in so you never have to worry about recharging. With USB-C and USB-A power options it can be used with any USB-compatible power source such as a wall plug if you don't want to use a port in your computer). The screen mount is intended for use on laptop screens for on-the-go flexibility but can stand upright on your desk as well.

Lots of light little footprint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am writing this review using no other light than the Brightwell Light. My office gets natural light but sometimes I need a little extra light in the early mornings evenings and on cloudy days. This Brightwell light was cleverly designed to provide lots of light without taking up a lot of space on my desktop. I soon realized this light had changeable light color modes. The light mode changing gave me a small distraction on my desk that was very needed to keep me productive. I really like how portable this light is allowing me to light up my bookshelf or my desk. The power cable has multiple connectors to be convenient. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this office light.

Effective portable lighting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light has some pros and cons and could be great depending on what you need it for. It is super lightweight and easy to slip in a bag and take around but some sturdiness is sacrificed to keep it light. The laptop/monitor mounting feature felt a little loose (though I understand it needs to be compatible with any screen). It was fine on my desktop monitor but I needed to be careful to make sure my laptop screen didn’t get bumped. It was decently bright for lighting myself for videoconferences/video recording and I liked the warmer light setting. As far as I could tell my mood was unaffected by the different mood settings but maybe I didn’t spend enough time with those on. The buttons for selecting lights were also sensitive but not a big deal after I found my setting and arrangement. I liked that it came with an adapter to use with either USB-C or USB-A ports and didn’t realize it needed to remain plugged in to work (it does not have an internal battery/cannot be used when unplugged) so some maneuvering may be needed to get the cable out of the way. The “Busy” light was fun to use at the office though it ended up prompting more conversations with coworkers about the “Busy” light (“Haha that’s neat! I should get one of those!”) rather than warding visitors away. Overall I liked this light for the portability and felt it did well to get good lighting for video calls. It works for me since I am on the move a lot with my work laptop but I can see someone desiring a more sturdy light for more permanent setups.
