[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brightwell desk light has quickly become one of my favorite additions to my workspace. It combines functionality with a touch of ambiance that truly enhances my daily routine. One of its standout features is the variety of light settings. From crisp bright light for focused work sessions to softer warmer tones for a more relaxed vibe it adapts perfectly to different moods and tasks. The pulsing breathwork light has been a surprising favorite — it’s calming without being distracting and helps me take much-needed mental breaks throughout the day. Another great feature is the relaxing aura lights. They add a subtle glow that makes my desk feel more inviting especially during late-night work sessions or early morning starts. The built-in quick touch on/off BUSY sign is clever and convenient — it’s a great way to signal “do not disturb” during calls or deep work though its effectiveness can vary depending on where you mount the light. The only downside and it’s a small one is that the light must remain plugged in at all times. I would’ve preferred a wireless or rechargeable option to keep my desk a bit tidier and avoid having yet another cord in the mix. Still despite this one limitation the Brightwell desk light is an excellent tool for anyone looking to boost productivity while creating a more mindful personalized workspace. Wanted to love it but didnt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Brightwell Light as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was really excited to try it out. I work from my home office in the basement so I can use all of the extra light I can get. I often host online meetings and I wanted to use this light to improve my lighting on camera. I like that it has a convertible clip that can go on my desk or on my computer monitor but the clamp on the monitor does not work well. It does not clamp down hard enough and often falls off of the screen. Additionally there is a glare that can be seen in my glasses when using this light but to be fair that happens with many desk lights. I like the 5 different modes on the light and the blue and pink modes did help me to feel more calm. I also like that you can adjust the brightness of the light in all of the modes. The light-up busy sign is also helpful when my kids walk into my home office. I think this light could be really great if a couple features were improved. First as previously mentioned the clip needs to be stronger to stay on your computer monitor. Secondly the cord is not long enough and often becomes unplugged when moving the light around even though my power strip is mounted on the underside of my desk. For these reasons I gave the light a two star rating. Two stars is low I know but these two problem areas really impede my use of the light. I would love to try another Brightwell Light after these issues have been solved.

We’re great to hear you're enjoying the Brightwell light! The screen mount is designed to fit laptops for on-the-go flexibility while the desktop stand offers an option for upright use. As the light is intended to plug into a USB port in your computer the cord is sized accordingly.

Loved it more than I thought I would

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loving this light so far! I don't think there's any other light that packs in so many features or modes in one light! There are five light modes the color and temperature are adjustable there are two ways to use it by mounting it on your monitor or making t stand and it's super easy to setup and use. The first mode is the meeting mode which shows you in the best light! It enhances clarity and you can adjust the brightness and temperature to look your best. The second mode is happy mode which tries to stimulate sunshine and tries to get you in a happy cheery mood. You can adjust this one as well. The third mode is the breathing light and I loved this one! This mode takes you through calm breathing exercises to help him reset and slow down your thoughts and mind. You know you need to use this mode multiple times during a work day! The fourth mode the focus mode which involves two colors and motions that tries to decrease distractions and provides a visual cue. The fifth mode is the busy mode which displays the word 'busy' on the other side of the light so people don't disturb you. Pretty cool idea. I went through all the modes in my typical day and I loved it! The used the different modes more than I thought I would. Instead of getting a light/ring light for your work why not get something that offers a light and so much more. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this office light! I truly loved playing around with it and it helped me so much - from making me productive and helping me focus to helping me managing stress by making me do the breathing exercises.

Great Multipurpose Light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this office light to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and let me just say I loved it. Using a usb-c or usb-a plug it conveniently plugs into your laptop. It can be used free-standing or it can be attached to the top of your laptop. Although it's small it packs a big punch. Even in a dark room it gave off a substantial amount of light. There are five light features: meeting light breathing light focus light busy light and happy light. My favorite modes were the busy light and happy light. The busy light is a red light that reads "busy" which allows others to know you are busy without you having to say a word. The happy mode transitions to different colors that are designed to help boost your mood. On all modes the brightness can be easily controlled. Although this may have been designed as an office light I can see how it could be beneficial in other settings. For example it could easily be used bedside as a reading light. One thing to keep in mind is that it can not be used wirelessly. However it's size makes it great for travel or even in a dorm room so I would recommend it.

The different modes make it useful for many situations and I especially like that you can change not only the brightness but the colors on the productivity mode and the speed with which the colors cycle. My favorite aspect of the light is the box breathing mode. I found the reminders of when to inhale hold and exhale helpful for utilizing this breathing technique. I’m not sure if the light helps with my productivity but it certainly helps me to stay calmer throughout my day. The lights design is sleek and minimal making it easy to incorporate onto my desk.
