Little gadget but not great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest opinion about it. I was excited to try this productivity light as I am always on my computer and wanted to see if it helped enhance my work-life balance. My first observation was that the product is made of cheap plastic and doesn't hold very well on the computer. It tends to wobble as I type. I enjoy that it has 5 different lighting modes including one that helps you count your breaths to relax and a happy mode that helps fight seasonal affective disorder. My favorite mode however is the meeting light as it projects a bright light that is ideal when you want to film a video or join online meetings if you are in a dark room. I however wish that there were options for even dimmer lighting as all the settings were still too bright for me and hurt my eyes. Another feature that I enjoy is that I can click the busy button and it will light up in red for others to see indicating that I am unavailable. This has been very useful at home when I work and need my children to know that I am busy. Overall I think this lamp could help certain users but it is too bright for me and I now only use it during meetings.

Great Addition to Work Space

This light has an easy setup and I like that I can switch it between sitting on the desk or on my computer monitor so easily. I like the different modes and I tend to keep the focus mode on for the majority of the time. I also use the camera light for meetings. I like that you can adjust the brightness of the light and that it has an easy on off switch. I worry a little at the balancing act it does on my monitor but I'm still playing around with positions that are secure. My favorite part of this light is the focus mode because it draws my attention to the computer screen and helps me work with fewer distractions. The busy light is cool and I like that it's on both sides. But I wish that it had it's own mode and that it was a little more prominent so that when people approach you from behind they notice it faster.

Great light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own my own business and work out of my house specifically in my office in my finished basement where there is no daylighting. I’ve been using this light for a few weeks now and really do like it. I’ve tried all of the different modes and the focus mode is by far my favorite. The warm glow just brightens my mood! The gradual color shift is so pretty and keeps me feeling motivated. I also like that this light can be clipped to my computer for video meetings which I do a lot of. It’s super easy to set up and it really helps to minimize shadows. I’m going to continue to use this light and find ways to integrate this into my daily work life! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this office light.

Great 5 mode light that makes big impact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Brightwell Productivity Light for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed. The size is absolutely perfect—not so big that it gets in the way of my work setup. What really sets this light apart is the five different modes: Meeting Light Happy Light Breathing Light Focus Light and Busy Light. My favorite by far is the Meeting Light. My husband and I are on Zoom calls several times a week and this mode provides excellent lighting that makes a big difference in how we show up on camera. The Busy Light setting has also been a game changer. It’s such a simple but effective way to signal that we’re unavailable. It even helped our kids understand when it wasn’t a good time to interrupt which made our workdays much more productive. Overall my favorite thing about this light is the variety of modes and how easy and effective it is to use. It’s a small addition that’s had a big impact on our productivity and home office setup. Too much going on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box I knew I wouldn't use this daily. The light has some neat features but to me the features were distracting and not helpful to make me productive. The breathing light mode is a cool idea but was distracting during work. The busy signal was my favorite part but I think it would be better as a clear bar with the words that face both directions. It was on the back side so if someone was looking at my computer they wouldn't see the sign. The light did have some warm tones which I liked but it still felt too bright for me The part I liked the least was it has to be plugged in. I can't plug this into my work laptop so I had to jerry rig this.

Perfect Product for Productivity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only been using the Brightwell 5-in-1 Productivity Light for about a week now after receiving it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel but I have noticed my productivity has increased significantly. I work out of my home office which is pretty dark with minimal sunlight exposure through the one window so this light is helpful as it mimics natural daylight. I love that it only takes 5 seconds to set up by simply plugging it in and pressing a button. It also doesn’t take up too much space which is helpful in my cluttered office. I didn’t notice a major difference the first day but after a few days I started feeling less groggy and a little more focused during work. The only thing it’s lacking is the cord length. Depending on your office setup this could be an issue for some people that need a longer cord. I would also appreciate a dimming feature instead of simply an on/off feature. Overall I’m enjoying the results this productivity light has brought me so far.

Could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this light as part of the Stellar Testing Panel and while I would love to love it I think it has some inherent flaws. For one it needs to be plugged in. It is so lightweight and portable and simply designed that it seems it should be able to used without plugging in rather charging and having a certain battery life. I would love to use the light in bed to read or let my kids use it for the reading light or for the very fun color waves used for concentration and/or meditation but it loses some allure needing to be plugged in at all times. I also found the clip cumbersome and not able to stay affixed to my laptop. Like I mentioned design-wise I enjoy the lamp and its sleek simplicity and lightweight nature. The warm and cool toned light is a great feature as are the color ways but I won't find myself using it often needing it to be plugged in.
