Could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested this light during the hours of my workday and I have to say it was just okay. I’ll start with the fact that I liked that it was very bright it made for better focus and vision. Some things I noticed that I wasn’t a fan of but were that the side buttons were very hard to press. I also wish that it had a battery instead or was rechargeable you have to plug it in for it to work and so you just have loose wire present. I also am not sure what the purpose of the small ‘busy’ light is on the front I understand the big one on the back is to alert people if you are in a meeting etc but the small one on the front has no purpose? Overall it’s an okay light but I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend to others. I received this product through the stellar product testing panel.

Nice desk lamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a very nice USB desk lamp with some great options. I like the small portable size and the ability to dim the lighting to suit you exact needs. My only issue was the clip options I really wish I could clip the lamp onto the side of my desk rather than having to have desk space for the kickstand or to clip it more securely to the top of my monitor. It does mount on the monitor but it just kind of balances there without being secured at all. My favorite modes were meeting mode to give better lighting for remote meetings & focus mode which I found centering and peaceful to have on while I was working. I didn't have a chance to use the Busy light during meetings yet but believe this will be helpful this summer while my daughter is around the house during summer break and I have a meeting going on so she can know without me having to go on mute to tell her. It's definitely a nice little desktop light that I look forward to continuing to use and would recommend to friends and family looking for a similar item. Status and task light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little light is a fun addition to a cubicle or workspace. Allows you to adjust lighting for video meetings as well as toggle on the red “busy” light if you need to work uninterrupted. I like that you can attach it to the top of your monitor or in my case the top of my cubicle wall has been really helpful to avoid the awkward “I’m on a call” when someone pops in and starts talking without realizing there’s a meeting going on. Even with the light being a bit higher up because the height of the cube I still get decent lighting of my workspace and the ability to change the lighting mode for calls task lighting or eye strain is easy to do and a nice feature. Overall pleased to test this light courtesy of the Stellar Testing panel and plan to continue use in my workspace.

Nifty little light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the package I was very impressed with the design variety of lights and multi function aspect of the Brightwell Light. Before I even was able to test it out my son loved switching between all the different lights. I am a teacher and do lots of classroom prep on the computer as well as some virtual conferences. During lesson prep I used the focus light and my students loved when I switched the Brightwell Light to the busy mode when we were in class. The light I loved most was the breathing light. It forced me to find a time to mediate. The only improvement I would suggest would be to have it work without a cord. This nifty little light has become a part of my daily routine!! I received the Brightwell Light as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Great light

I work 10 hours a day with behind a computer screen. This light has helped with my mood and calming me in stressful situations. The light can be very bright however even on the lowest setting for my liking. I do wish it was save your brightness settings after you turned it off and then back on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brightwell Busy Light is pretty impressive. It is extremely lightweight and easy to pack along if needed. I really like that it has multiple modes both warm and cool tones and different brightness levels. I used the Brightwell Light the first time during a video meeting. It was really nice to be able to plug it directly into my laptop. The fact that the kickstand can be moved is great too - this way the light can stand up vertically on a desk or table or lay horizontally across the top of the computer screen. The kickstand was a little difficult to keep secure on the top of my screen but I made it work with some adjustments. It provided more than adequate light for the video call even on the lowest brightness setting. I am not a huge fan of bright or white lights so I have mostly kept the light on the warmer settings but it is nice to have the choice. I really enjoy the focus mode and the colors are beautiful. I also used the guided breathing mode with one of my highly anxious kiddos. We do box breathing a lot and having the light to focus on was great for him. Living in Oregon means we don’t get a ton of sunshine all the time so I can see the super bright “happy” mode being used more in darker months. I haven’t had to use the “Busy” mode as I am able to use a private office but I could definitely see how useful it would be in a shared space or if I was working with headphones in. Pros of the Brightwell Busy Light: - Multiple modes and brightness level. It’s easy to find one that works for you. - Ease of connecting to laptop for power when making video calls - Versatility of being able to plug into a wall charger as well - Bic breathing and focus mode are awesome for so many reasons - Small lightweight and easily packable - Adjustable kickstand Cons: - Kickstand isn’t as sturdy when mounting to laptop screen - Touch pad is very sensitive so it is easy to accidentally change mode or brightness Overall I would definitely recommend the Brightwell Busy Light even if you only want to use it for video call lighting. The extra features are bonuses in my opinion. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this office light.

Great addition to home office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light solves a lot for me as a remote/hybrid worker and working parent. I was able to replace my ring light for calls with it and the breathing/mindfulness light replaces an app I was using. The busy light is so perfect as a visual reminder to any family members in the house that I’m in work mode which keeps me more productive without interruptions. I really appreciate that the light is not a single-use desk item and it’s quick and easy to pop it into my bag to take to the office. Conveniently sized light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this office light to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I tested this in my office at home. I love the size! I love that this plugs in with a USB-C I was able to plug it in to my monitor directly and not have the cord running all over my desk. This was small enough to sit under the end of my monitor and not be in the way of anything. Depending on the setting and the time of day I was able to move the light around to different areas of my desk to fit my needs. I did struggle to get it to attach to my laptop or my monitor that was not super intuitive unfortunately. I appreciated the different options for settings and liked the box breathing way more than I thought I would! I also really liked the warm light. There were a few meetings when the sun was hiding in the clouds and that balanced the light on my face from the monitors. Overall my favorite part was the size. This created so much convenience and ease of use. My least favorite was trying to attach it to my monitor.
