[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This desk light definitely did what I needed it to do! The light it provides for video calls was sufficient. It got rid of unwanted shadows and it gave me more confidence in my appearance over virtual appointments. Aside from that there are 4 other light options which were nice for the ambience of my space. I like how there is a removable clip which makes it so you can situate your light two different ways. You can have your light standing up on your desk or you can have it clipped to the top of your laptop. The only negative thing that I experienced with this light is that the clip isn’t the tightest but it still does the job.

Well it is Bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brightwell Busy Light is pretty impressive. It is extremely lightweight and easy to pack along if needed. I really like that it has multiple modes both warm and cool tones and different brightness levels. I used the Brightwell Light the first time during a video meeting. It was really nice to be able to plug it directly into my laptop. The fact that the kickstand can be moved is great too - this way the light can stand up vertically on a desk or table or lay horizontally across the top of the computer screen. The kickstand was a little difficult to keep secure on the top of my screen but I made it work with some adjustments. It provided more than adequate light for the video call even on the lowest brightness setting. I am not a huge fan of bright or white lights so I have mostly kept the light on the warmer settings but it is nice to have the choice. I really enjoy the focus mode and the colors are beautiful. I also used the guided breathing mode with one of my highly anxious kiddos. We do box breathing a lot and having the light to focus on was great for him. Living in Oregon means we don’t get a ton of sunshine all the time so I can see the super bright “happy” mode being used more in darker months. I haven’t had to use the “Busy” mode as I am able to use a private office but I could definitely see how useful it would be in a shared space or if I was working with headphones in. Pros of the Brightwell Busy Light: - Multiple modes and brightness level. It’s easy to find one that works for you. - Ease of connecting to laptop for power when making video calls - Versatility of being able to plug into a wall charger as well - Bic breathing and focus mode are awesome for so many reasons - Small lightweight and easily packable - Adjustable kickstand Cons: - Kickstand isn’t as sturdy when mounting to laptop screen - Touch pad is very sensitive so it is easy to accidentally change mode or brightness Overall I would definitely recommend the Brightwell Busy Light even if you only want to use it for video call lighting. The extra features are bonuses in my opinion. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this office light.

Best light for Reading and Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Brightwell 5-in-1 Productivity Light to review from Stellar Product Testing Panel. It is perfect for what I need to do at work and at home at my desk. It helps with seeing clearer on my laptop and desktop. It also helps me see better when I am writing and reading. The stand works very well on my desk or on top of my laptop. It’s easy to work with and the light goes from very bright to dim which is nice for my eyes. Being able to adjust the temperatures helps greatly as I am a person that wears glasses so I can adjust the light for my needs. My favorite is the focus light as it really helps me with my flow and productivity. It’s not too bright or too low…it’s just right. The breathing light helped me focus as well as it helped me reduce strain on my eyes since I am in front of the computer all day at work or working from home. Having the Busy Light did help with disruptions but only after everyone asked ‘What’s that cool light on your computer.’ I have yet to use the meeting light as I have not had any meetings online or zoom. The Happy light helped with my focus as well. Overall…it’s a great light and I am very happy to use it daily.

Nice little light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the TRU RED Brightwell Productivity LED Desk Lamp for a little while now and overall I’d say it’s a solid little desk lamp. I really like how compact it is—it doesn’t take up much space and the adjustable brightness levels are great for switching between focused work and softer lighting in the evening. That said when I first unboxed it the lamp felt a bit lightweight and not as sturdy as I expected. It hasn’t given me any real issues but it definitely has a more budget-friendly build. Still for the price it does its job well and I’ve actually written a few late-night reports with just this lamp on. It’s a nice addition to my desk setup. I had high hopes. But this light hurts my eyes if I use it. It is wayyyyyy too bright. Or I have to turn it to the blue or pink light and I see no benefit from it. Waste of money feels cheap. Cool idea just not worth it and I will never use it

A Busy Status for Real Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I share an office with several colleagues and the Brightwell 5-in-1 Productivity Light has been a great addition to my workspace. It’s primarily a video light with five modes—four on the front and one on the back. The front features a large diffuse LED panel with a “meeting” mode for flattering light during calls a cooler “happy” mode a calming blue “breathing” mode and a fun purple-toned “focus” light show. While the first two are genuinely useful for video calls the latter two are more of a novelty. The standout feature though is the back-facing “Busy” mode which lights up a red LED “Busy” sign—like a real-life “Do Not Disturb” setting. It’s super helpful for avoiding interruptions. The capacitive touch mode buttons are very responsive and the brightness and color temperature controls are easy to use. My only gripe is the built-in stand. While it works both horizontally (on a monitor) and vertically (on a desk) with a grippy base the monitor lip is too shallow. Any slight adjustment tends to knock the light off which is frustrating. Overall it’s a great portable light especially for video calls and shared office spaces. Just know that if you’re looking for a more permanent desk setup you might want one with a sturdier mounting system. Really neat

It doesn't take up a lot of space in my work area and I really appreciate that I can use it on its own sitting on my desk or that I can clip it to the side of my laptop when I want to work elsewhere. The set up was done quickly and changing between the different light modes couldn't be any easier. My favorite of the modes are the meeting light and the ambient light though my husband likes the busy light as well. The light looks nice on its own too and doesn't stick out as something that doesn't belong in my work area. I like it a lot and definitely plan to keep using it!
