Nice little light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the TRU RED Brightwell Productivity LED Desk Lamp for a little while now and overall I’d say it’s a solid little desk lamp. I really like how compact it is—it doesn’t take up much space and the adjustable brightness levels are great for switching between focused work and softer lighting in the evening. That said when I first unboxed it the lamp felt a bit lightweight and not as sturdy as I expected. It hasn’t given me any real issues but it definitely has a more budget-friendly build. Still for the price it does its job well and I’ve actually written a few late-night reports with just this lamp on. It’s a nice addition to my desk setup. Helpful light for meetings and productivity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Brightwell Light through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It has 5 modes several brightness levels and settings to assist in your workday needs. It looks sleek and is designed to be simple to use. You do have to plug it in via USB-c at all times to operate and it doesn’t hold a charge or work if not plugged in but that’s easy enough through your monitors laptop power bank etc. There’s a warm tie-dye looking magenta/orange/yellow light a blue light and a warm white light. My favorite setting is the warm slow pulsing magenta/orange light. The plain warm-white light is helpful for meetings when I have to be on camera since the only window in my home office is to my right. I really like the “busy” feature where it lights up in red at the front and back I almost wish I worked in an office again to be able to utilize it (but maybe not). You can set and position the light on your desk or lightly mount it on your monitors (the clip/base is removeable and can be used horizontally or vertically). I had to change the clip to use it on my monitors and even then it wasn’t too stable. (My monitors are thin at the top but do curve a little at the back so keep that in mind if wanting to mount .) I do wish it was rechargeable and was able to be used without being plugged in but other than that it’s great!

Fun for the home office

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very thankful for Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me the opportunity to test this desk light. I was very excited to receive it in the mail. It was lightweight and easy to set up. It comes with five modes my favorite being the “happy” it allowed me to remain relaxed and in a positive mood while working at my desk. The varying levels of brightness allowed me to see throughout all times of the day in my office which has one window. One of my favorite features was the “busy” feature. With young children it is nice for me to have that lit up so if they come in and see that they know to not interrupt. I do wish the clip was a little larger but it was very efficient overall.

Just could not light the way

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the Brightwell Light through the Stellar Product Testing Panel I was excited to use it at work. There I have many Zoom meetings but poor lighting in my office. When I opened the packaging the Brightwell Light felt cheap and lightweight. Nevertheless eagerly I turned it on right away it did not turn on. I figured it needed to be charged so I plugged it in over night. In the morning I turned it on while it was still charging and watched the amazing lighting effects. I was so looking forward to using it with my scheduled meetings that week. I turned it on at work but it never worked. I charged it overnight for a week and still it never worked. It only worked if it was plugged in. I couldn’t even test it as the outlet is far away from the computer and the charger’s cord is way too short. How disappointing!

Great WFH accessories

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great work from home staple as a working mom. This is a great indicator for my boys to know when I should not be interrupted. I love that it’s compact and rechargeable for ease. When the busy is illuminated my kids will know to keep low voices and to not enter the room. I’m glad I was able to try this product through the stellar product testing panel as it is now a working mom must have!

Nice lamp with some good features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Brightwell Lamp is small and easy to use. I really like that the stand can adjust to make the lamp stand in landscape or in portrait. The modes are all good. I use the brightest or second brightest when I’m on video calls. I use the dimmer settings on darker days when I want more general task lighting but don’t need anything super bright. When the lamp is on the back lights up “busy” which is clever. This feature however doesn’t do anything for me as my desk faces the wall with my back to the door so the lamp would need to be behind me or facing the wrong way for people coming in the door to see the “busy”. Still a cute and useful little lamp.

Could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested this light during the hours of my workday and I have to say it was just okay. I’ll start with the fact that I liked that it was very bright it made for better focus and vision. Some things I noticed that I wasn’t a fan of but were that the side buttons were very hard to press. I also wish that it had a battery instead or was rechargeable you have to plug it in for it to work and so you just have loose wire present. I also am not sure what the purpose of the small ‘busy’ light is on the front I understand the big one on the back is to alert people if you are in a meeting etc but the small one on the front has no purpose? Overall it’s an okay light but I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend to others. I received this product through the stellar product testing panel.

Nice desk lamp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this is a very nice USB desk lamp with some great options. I like the small portable size and the ability to dim the lighting to suit you exact needs. My only issue was the clip options I really wish I could clip the lamp onto the side of my desk rather than having to have desk space for the kickstand or to clip it more securely to the top of my monitor. It does mount on the monitor but it just kind of balances there without being secured at all. My favorite modes were meeting mode to give better lighting for remote meetings & focus mode which I found centering and peaceful to have on while I was working. I didn't have a chance to use the Busy light during meetings yet but believe this will be helpful this summer while my daughter is around the house during summer break and I have a meeting going on so she can know without me having to go on mute to tell her. It's definitely a nice little desktop light that I look forward to continuing to use and would recommend to friends and family looking for a similar item.
