Do not buy this watered down green water

Been buying this soap for years, the large bottle has a big flip top that you no longer control the flow, Bottles are now made of thin light weight plastic so more liquid goes out faster when you squeeze the bottle. They thinned the soap down to the point you need a fire hose just to get any suds. Who do they think they're fooling? I now buy Dawn and its what Palmolive used to be. Bye bye Palmolive.
Pros: Easy to use because its geen water.
Cons: Weak Function

Useing This Product for Over 40 Years

I began using this product when I lived home--about 40 years ago. It's been in my laundry repertoire since then. Not only is it good for dishes, but it is THE one product that removes NEARLY every stubborn stain on clothing (shirt collars, grease), linens (tablecloths, napkins), and kitchen surfaces and other non-wood household surfaces. Don't expect detergents to always remove stubborn stains with one wash cycle. Prep soiled area by spritzing with water, adding a few drops of Original Palmolive, and working the soap into the fabric using old-fashioned mechanical action by scrubbing the material against itself for several seconds. Set it aside until the machine is filled with water and THEN throw any of your pretreated pieces into the cycle. I have recommended this product to many people when the subject of stain removal has come up.
Pros: Easy To Use, Good Power Output

Ultra version too smelly, want original Original!

I've got a severe set of allergies, I can't just buy any soap. I've been very happy with the Original for years, and now it's gone! Only this Ultra stuff remains, and the heavy fragrance is disgusting. They've ruined a perfectly good soap brand for me. Bring back the original Original!

Cons: Overwhelming fragrance

I did buy this product

I was traveling and forgot to pack shampoo and body wash. My kids used the hotel bottles and I didn't want to wait for room service so I used the soap in the kitchenette. It had Palmolive and I just used it after swimming in the pool. It was GREAT! My skin is so sensitive that I react to Aveeno products. I now use Palmolive daily and my skin is loving it. Good-by Aveeno products.
Pros: Easy On Skin, Pleasant Smell

Do not like the caps !

I have used Palmolive original dish liquid for as long as I can remember, and I will be 79 in August. I just wanted you to know that I absolutely dislike the new flip top cap you now use. Could you please send me some of the old pull up type caps ? I also wanted to comment that I think the consistency has changed in the liquid itself it seems thinner to me. PLEASE CHANGE THINGS BACK!!!!

I have been a Palmolive user for most of my life (I am 67)

I have found that the large refill size is no longer concentrated and it requires more than twice the amount to do the dishes. It also absolutely does not remove oils and grease from my dishes (using very hot water). I am very disappointed in whatever changes you have made.
Cons: Harsh On Skin, No longer removes oils and grease from dishes

Hate the new cap :(

Just started a new bottle this past week after the old bottle ( with the old cap) was finally empty. Didn't notice the new cap design when I bough it. The detergent consistency is thinner than the previous bottle. With that new cap I end up squeezing out more than I need. The cap on the old bottle you had to really squeeze it and it came slower so you didn't use so much. I also bought the antibacterial formula in which the scent has a weird smell (almost fruity). If I do buy again, I'll go back to the original green.
Cons: Poor Dispenser, Strong Odor

I have used Palmolive dish soap for years. I weathered the downsizing...13oz. to 10 oz., but now the watering down of a good product...UNACCEPTABLE. I will not be purchasing your product any time soon. The soap just squirts out in a thin stream where it used to be nice and thick. Obviously a ploy to get customers to have repurchase sooner and you to save money on a now inferior product. No more~ Very disappointed in your company.
