I agree with the other reviews here, the new scent is awful. I had to discard 2 bottles and get another brand. I have been using Palmolive my entire life (60) because i liked the scent of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used Palmolive, and only Palmolive, on my dishes forever, but this new formulation has a scent that is unbearable. I threw out the bottle after just one use. Yes, I am angry! What were you thinking?

I have been using Palmolive forever! Not Dawn,not Joy, not Ajax, PALMOLIVE. Not a special Palmolive, just regular "You're soaking in it " Palmolive green. What is up with the smell?? I was away for the weekend and my husband opened a new bottle, I noticed the smell immediately. Not a good smell, not the Palmolive smell. I'm going to have o change my dish liquid. Too bad.

I've used Palmolive all my life. But as manufacturers persist in making products smell like a bottle of bad perfume - more customers with sensitive smell will buy "free & clear" fragrance free products. I am. Why don't you make a fragrance free dish detergent also. Your product is good, except for the overwhelming new smell.

Extremely Disappointed

I have been a Palmolive (original scent) customer for my whole adult life. I am so disappointed with the new scent. It totally takes over my kitchen and overpowers any yummy food smells. If you are eating and someone decides to soak a pan, your meal is ruined with this scent. We quickly tried the other scents but all were too overpowering. I loved using the same dish soap my grandma did but now I'm on a sad search for something new. I even spent $15 on an essential oils dish soap because I was so desperate.

I've been using Palmolive in my kitchen for years and may have to change to a different product as I don't like the new smell.....it bothers me more the more I use it.

New Scent = New Coke; I want Palmolive Classic!!!!

What happened to my memories of childhood? The new scent is disgustingly sweet and makes my kitchen smell like a candy factory - and not in a good way. The cleansing part still seems to be there, but the new odor is very unappealing. Grandma always said, If it aint broke, don't fix it! I'm seeing a "New" Coke scenario here. I'm OK with Palmolive Classic, just sell it!

Bring back the Original scent

Why mess with a classic like Palmolive dish soap?? I have been using this for years!! I loved the old smell. I purchased this product bc my Grandmother used it. I live in her house now and when I used it at the sink it always brought back fond memories. Now that's gone. I did call customer service and the rep was very gracious. Please bring back the original scent!!! I can't even use this. I know it sounds silly but it makes me sad.
