TOO MUCH SCENT!

Over the years the scent of Palmolive has gotten stronger and stronger. I recently needed to switch my current dish soap, so I decided to give it another try. Not only is the scent still super strong, but it has changed to a fruity scent. It's okay at doing dishes and cutting grease, but I gag everytime I use it, and the scent stays on my dishes and glasses.

NOT GENTLE ANYMORE

It IS a differrent formula!!!! It was great for bathing our dog with sensitive skin. His fur was soft & clean. We used the new formula & it was Horrible!!!!! His fur was coarse & his skin turned red and he was itching like Crazy.
I’m NOT putting my hands in it for dishes anymore. If you want a degreaser, you will probably like it. If you remember ‘Madge - you’re soaking in it’ ads, it’s HORRIBLE.

Lousy new formula

I purchased a bottle as well as a replacement jug of soap. This was the newly 200% degreaser. I am truly disappointed with this new product. The first time I used it the new smell was overwhelmingly chemical and it dried out and burnt my skin. It hasn’t recovered since yesterday. This new formula is far too caustic for every day household use. I for one will no longer be purchasing this product from
Palmolive for this reason. I also find it hugely inconvenient to use the product in a household as it’s so caustic you need to to wear gouges every time you wash a dish which is highly inconvenient. I liked the previous formula. It really cleaned my kitchen well, wasn’t hard on my hands and I could wash a quick dish. Not the case with the new formula. It stinks! Whoever came up and approved it didn’t really understand his folks do dishes. Not all of us use dishwashers. As a matter of fact many don’t.

My family has used Palmolive products for over 60 years and I will have to hunt for a different product. Shame on this company.

My hands were burning while I washed the dishes. On top of that the smell is strong and unpleasant. What did y’all do to the formula?!

Has been great for my hands

I have eczema, so my skin gets very irritated with soaps, but I don't like to wear gloves. Well because my sister gave me a large bottle of the dish soap she uses I didn't buy my regular Palmolive. Her soap is great on grease (not that yours isn't) but terrible on my hands my eczema and the dryness got so bad there were cuts on my pinky and I couldn't bend my pinky which is where I'm affected the most. I started using my medicine of course but still used the other soap. I didn't get better. I bought my trusty Palmolive and I kept putting my medicine, of course, and my hands, pinky felt better and I could bend my pinky without problem. This is my dish soap from now on. I don't mind the scent, it all smells good to me. :)
Pros: Easy On Skin, Good Dispenser, Pleasant Smell
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loving the new scent.

I recently picked up a new bottle of the Uptra Strength Dish Soap and am pleasantly surprised by how good it smells as well as cuts through the grease. My family had a dinner party and this made it a breeze to do the dishes and left a light fresh scent in the air. Will definitely be purchasing again.

Smells terrible!

I used Palmolive for decades! It was great and didn't cause my hands to break out like other dish detergents. Your new "fragrance" is so bad it makes me feel sick at my stomach! I've tried several of your fancy new varieties and they also have too strong a fragrance. I recently tried a Palmolive labeled essential "original" and it stinks too! Please bring back the decades old ORIGINAL !!!

Had a very hard to clean - baked on brown sugar - pan - let it soak with Palmolive Ultra Strength while I did the dishes - I checked to see how it was doing before I finished the other dishes and low and behold the sticky mess washed right off - I'm a believer for life
Pros: Attractive, Easy On Skin, Good Dispenser, Works so well on stuck on foods
I would recommend this to a friend!
